Ooh. Tough question, especially since I just got back.
My favorite hotel as a whole is the Yacht Club. I like certain things about the other places, though...like the Grand Floridian for the Lobby, live music at night, victorian architecture and that 24 hour pool. I love the way the Wilderness Lodge smells (and the waterfall). The theme and interior of the Animal Kingdom Lodge are things I have yet to completely discover (I'm staying there in November), but I love just being in there around so much life.
The whole "hey mon" thing down at the Caribbean Beach really makes me relax; the colors, and the fact that it's isolated enough to FEEL like an island really makes it cool. I feel that the Caribbean Beach works best as a moderate resort. Coronado Springs never really did it for me...
Oh, yeah. Then there's the sheer shock value of the Dolphin and Swan. When i first walked out of the swan and craned my little 8-year old neck up at the dolphin's tower, I was like "what kind of hallucinogens did they put the architect on when he did this place anyway?". I've heard that written elsewhere, but it's really true. Mike Graves may not be the most personable architect in creation (i've met the guy, he's a piece of work), but he banged the nail home in the resort-as-a-total-escape department. Problem is, Sheraton doesn't do as good a job of running the Dolphin as Disney (or someone else) could. Personally, i think it's too big for them to handle.
If i could pick any suite to stay for a week in WDW, though, it would be the Presidential Suite over at the Contemporary. Yes, the tower reminds me of a toaster. Yes, the atrium reminds me of a filing cabinet. But that view does it for me.
Adios,
JC
