How strict are they on a 12yr old being involved in the 13 to 17 age group?
DS cousins are going to all be 13 or over on next cruise and I know he will want to spend the time with them.

they might let him if hes with in 6th months of 13yo bday...being 12 he will have to prove to the counclers that hes mature enough and that he can behave other wise they will kick him out....this is what happened on my last cruise anyways

I thought they had to be one month away from their birthday to be moved up into the next group. At least that is what I have read everywhere.

On our recent cruise there were a few of the 12 yo that were in the stack with the rest of the teens and there was no problem. They weren't enjoying the lab and started hanging out with some of the other DIS teens. No one even questioned them.

the first night the counclers ask what your name is and they look at their list to see how old you are...they did this for everyone...but after that i saw many new people coming in and wernt asked at all....the 12 yo should be ok tho.
