Tee-hee! Going to Disneyland!

I spotted an announcement yesterday on the DVC Membership Magic page inviting DVC members to jump into the FastPass line for the newly re-opened Big Thunder Mountain Railroad this weekend at Disneyland.

After stalking inventory online, I picked up a 1BR unit at Worldmark Anaheim on Bonus Time -- and we are going to Disneyland! Yeah.

Footnote: I was stalking Worldmark inventory as a Worldmark member, not through DVC or the various DVC Collections.

Spotted the same invite so we will be dropping into Disneyland as well minus overnight stay!! Just have to upgrade our passes to Premier PP with the DVC discount!
They are giving AP Holders kinda the same invite also but I think DVC members get up to five fast passes on spot while AP holders get theirs 1 by 1.
(like you can't have 5 other peoples AP's to collect FP's)
Are you going to see the DVC preview of the new Muppet Movie @ AMC in DTD as well?
Next week is also A DVC special @ AMC - "Great Moments with Walt"
We seem to be enjoying these so called recent perks from DVC so far!

I got email notifications on BOTH AMC Invites as soon as the news came out!
I'm not on Facebook or Twitter so I always assume that I'm the last to know so don't feel too bad about it! I also read the latest news in the DVC member website ( the one where you can make online ressies)

I have missed maybe one other movie preview PLUS ALMOST another (Saving Mr. Banks) but made SURE to voice my complaint during the DVC meeting back in December! I asked them "What happened.... I just came across your sent email ONLY within 1 hour time so HOW can it be FULL already?"
They replied, " Sorry .... we were not expecting it to be well received due to a middle of the week showing BUT we CAN still get you IN!" Also at this Dec. meeting I asked the DVC peeps "Why don't we get DVC discounted tickets/AP's @ Disneyland?" Their response - DisneyLAND deals with their tickets sysyem differently....
SURE enough a few months later DVC makes it happen with Deluxe AP discount!
Although we cannot use it NOW... I'm just HAPPY they are finally attempting to do MORE things for DVCer's!!!
I don't know how long they will be finding more "PERKS" for all of us but at least we're headed in the right direction!!! ENJOY!!!
