My teen has POTS and can’t stand for long periods of time. She is going to Disneyland for a Girl Scout destination. We got her a rollator that turns into a wheelchair. Are there any good resources to help her understand the process of going through lines with a rollator? She is going to be on this trip with scouts from around the US, so I want her to feel confident about how to do this for the first time with a mobility device.

Most of the time you go in the regular line. I think fantasy land you have to talk to the CM.

Disneyland will have more rides that will have special entrances with the rollator or wheelchair. There is a map she can grab when she enters that will have disability information. Off the top of my head, she will use exits or an alt entrance for the following rides:
  • Peter Pan's Flight
  • Snow White's Enchanted Adventure
  • Pinnochio
  • Mr Toad's Wild Ride
  • Casey Junior Train
  • Storybook Land Canal
  • Alice In Wonderland
  • Teacups
  • The Toontown kiddie roller coast (flaking on name)
  • Space Mountain
  • Jungle Cruise
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Indiana Jones
  • Maybe Tiana (not sure since it re-opened)
  • Big Thunder
  • The Train (I believe she could go in the handicap if she wants there)
All rides at DCA she will be able to use the regular line.

If she is in doubt, she can always ask a cast member at the entrance of the rides. They will tell her the procedure for every ride. Most that use the regular line will have her take the rollator all the way to the ride vehicle and will then take it from her and bring it back at the end of the ride.
