technical question

Can a moderator or a really techie person help me?
I want to send a digital image via email ( like to pinpics or to Laurie for the event ). My problem is that I do not have a digital still camera, but I do have a digital video camera that I can firewire to my IMac ( for iMovie, for example).
Is there a way to send a still image from the digital camera via email?

Yes Penny you can make that work!

I'm pretty sure you can "capture" an image from your video camera using iMovie. Once you get the camera hooked up, use the play contols in iMovie to get to the image you want. You should then have the ability to grab that image and save it to your desktop. Once there, make sure to convert the image to a .JPG file, then send it off in your email!
