I've seen a little interest on the WiSH Facebook page about a Team WiSH Bia Sportwatch band so I'm just going to throw this idea out there. If you're interested, please say so. I'm just trying to see if we have the minimum 20 people who would be interested in trying for the team band challenge.
For those who don't know about the Bia Sportswatch, it is like a Garmin: intervals, water proof, gps, heart rate monitoring, communicates with training logs, but it also has security features like emergency contact notifications, 911 notification, and a personal alarm if you're in trouble. The bands are interchangeable and come in many styles and colours, one of which I'm hoping will be Team WiSH!
What we would need is 20 people willing to pledge on their kickstarter page at the 99$ or more (that gets you the sportswatch, 129 gets you the watch with GPS). If we have that many interested, if the project goes forward, we get to have our own custom band for the watch, designed to our specifications.
I'd love to be wearing a WiSH team watch band!
If we pledge and the product isn't successful, no one gets charged (and we don't get the watch or band).
We unfortunately only have 5 days to decide if this is something we would like to do as their kickstarter deadline is July 14 at 3 am EDT. If you are interested please let me know asap.
I should point out that if we have under 20 people, we still get an entry to win our team band per team member pledged. We're just competing against every other small team at that point for one chance at a band.
I did a review on my blog and the details of the watch are on their kickstarter page. I'm sorry for going into limited details here but I'm trying to keep this focused on who would be interested in the challenge (and not about pumping up a product to people, that isn't my intention). I am more than happy to answer questions about the watch, kickstarter, or the challenge either here, by pm, or on facebook.

Mods: I sent in a note to the webmaster as per the instructions at the top of the board, but I haven't heard back and time is extremely limited. I apologize if this counts as a fundraising post and understand if it needs to be removed.
