Miss "seeing" you here!
Hi Alan,
Santa for sure is making a visit to Valeria!! She already knew what she wanted on her letter at least a month ago. BTW, She asked me if Truman got his chritsmas stockings on the chimney this year, too.
The one who gets a good deal is Mercedes, as her birthday falls on Dec. 25th. For years I have been trying to convince her to treat it as a single occasion, but she is unrelenting, so I get hit with a double whammy every year
Merry Christmas to you and yours, and a Happy and wonderful New Year! (and, thinking it better, a less hectic one... )
All the best,
Luis
So much food porn!! Pleeaase....let me go raid the fridge now.
Glad you're back Alan! Not a fan of sushi but the desserts look divine! Key Lime pie is one of my favorites too!
You will not be disappointed by Earl of Sandwich either. Great place to eat.

That all looked delicious, Alan! I have only eaten on the express side- I'll have to give it a shot with Pods in September!

After an awesome lunch at Wolfgang Puck, we decided to make a run for it through the pouring rain to Goofy's Candy Company. Since we were on the Deluxe Dining Plan, we had like a gajillion snack credits left! (Seriously, I think it was around 38 credits.) SO....it was time to pick up goodies as souvenirs for the peeps back home!
After dragging bags and bags full of goodies back to our vehicle, we were all pretty tired....and came to the conclusion that it was time for our wonderful trip to end. We still had dinner reservations at Kona for that evening. However, we had made an appointment with a man in Swainsboro, Georgia for the next morning to look at a hot dog roller (this is when we were still trying to decide if we were going to open a restaurant or not.) SO....if we went ahead and left, we could get to Swainsboro before bedtime. I hated to leave without having that last meal at Kona, but we had endured a very long, wet week and the rain was finally starting to get to us.
Reluctantly, we drove North...
We ended up staying at a hotel in Statesboro, not far from our destination.
The next day, we got up early and met with the man who had the hot dog roller for sale. He gave us a really, really good deal on it and it works great! (We use this piece of machinery EVERY day!)
On our way home we stopped just outside of Atlanta at Zaxby's for lunch.
and by 3pm, we were safely back home.....already missing Disney World!

Thanks to ALL of you who have shared our trip report with us! It was a wonderful trip and we've had a great time putting this trip report together. Sorry it has taken so long, but in the months that followed this trip, our lives have gotten extremely busy. We opened our own hot dog restaurant officially in July, called B.F. Dawgs, and I continue to work my "real" job as well. Elizabeth and I are "homesick" to go back to Disney World, but it will probably be quite some time before our next trip.
Thanks to all of the wonderful friends we have made through the DISboards! Many of you are our friends on Facebook, and I hope you will stay in touch. I promise to check in on the disboards from time to time, and I may even start a pre-trip report once another date has been decided upon.
Happy New Year to all of you, and may God Bless!
Alan
