Tutto Italia was a beautiful restaurant! It was one of the last reservations we made in planning for our trip. We had originally planned to go to the Hoop De Doo Review on this evening, but decided that for 2TS credits, we could get dinner at Tutto Italia AND breakfast at 'Ohana. This ended up being a great swap for my family because we greatly enjoyed both 'Ohana AND Tutto.
I cannot remember our server's name. She was friendly, but very busy. I think the service was about par - not terrific, and certainly not terrible.
The dining room was packed on this particular evening, so that is usually a good sign.
DW & I ordered the Grand Antipasto Misto for two. This platter could've been enough food for 4 adults! It was fantastic!! I would combine some of the meat with the sauces, the cheese, and other items with the fresh bread and olive oil. It was AWESOME!! (and very filling!)
DS had the calamari. It was a HUGE plate of food, and this is what was left!
DD ordered the fried mozzarella. I'm not sure why, but I don't think she ate any of it. Normally, I would jump in and help out...but that antipasto platter was so enormous, I was full before the entrees even arrived.
For an entree, DS ordered the Penne Caprese. He loves Penne Pasta, so he was very happy with his choice.
DW ordered the Petto Di Pollo, a roasted chicken breast with tomatoes and mozzarella with roasted potatoes. She LOVED it.
I had the spaghetti with veal meatballs. (I love veal, and I was in the mood for simplicity.) It was really delicious! I couldn't eat all of it though, because of being so full from the appetizer.
DD ordered the cheese pizza.
The dessert menu looked amazing:
DS ordered the Gelati E Sorbetti. He said that it was very sweet.
DW ordered the Profiterolles. She said they were amazing! (Apparently, DD agreed...she "helped" DW eat it all.)
Since there was NO WAY I could possibly eat another bite, I ordered the canoli in a "to go" box. DW loves canolis, so I figured that would make a great breakfast or late night snack for her later.
Overall, Tutto Italia was one of DW's favorite restaurants. I really enjoyed it as well....I just like some of the others better. IF you are not on the dining plan, this would be a rather expensive meal. However, if you ARE on the dining plan, this is a great value for 1TS. I would definitely go back again. In fact, if we plan another trip we are contemplating doing Epcot's World Showcase on our first day in the parks, and having Tutto Italia (or Le Cellier) for dinner.
