Funny you say that! I have a friend who works in the store and she told me when to apply (not till march tho) but its still a possible in!

Tanya: I wanna see pics of HM Holiday at DL! My friends and keep talking about taking a DL trip to see it. That's when they decorate HM like Nightmare Before Xmas right?


Then I get home and find that one of the cats Poo'd on my bed. She got punished by being outside in our terrace for 2hrs.

The nightmare DVD they put out this xmas has a behind the scenes tour of HM Holiday! It was worth the price of the dvd alone!

My cat has done that to us before, it's just yucky to clean, worse than a little kid i think sometimes.

Hey, guys...

I don't know. It's barely snowing and the radar shows it nearly gone. The winds were supposed to be worse than the snow from the first forecasts (and JenV says it's been yucky there), but this seems like not much. However, I know that the lakes can make things screwy, that I'm not used to. But, I'm still hopeful that at least we can get out, if not on time.

BIL & his fiancee just left. D's oldest friend is probably coming by, but I am probably heading to bed soon. I was fine staying out until nearly 2:00, but I'm tired now! We went out for really good Chinese food... Yum!

I have most of the kids' stuff repacked, and most of mine. We did get some of their make-up work finished, but not all - looks like airport or plane time. Woody has cutting projects, so those either have to be done here in the morning or another time at home.

I don't know what tomorrow will bring. I don't tend to get up too early here, but if we're on time, it's an 11:00 departure from the house, and there are things to do. So... I may be on or may not, but if something weird happens, at the least I'll text someone.

JenM, feel better - Kat, glad you have an in! - Z, have a good night. Jodi, good news about the puppy, and I hope it goes on. Mo, the foot sounds at least better than it could have, so I hope you feel good in the morning. Janet, have a peaceful night. Margie, good luck with all the stuff!

You don't owe her an apology. My sister and I were just talking about jealous friends. She was telling me that she just realized that when you have a best friend, you can't share everything with them. She has lost a couple of friends because she felt they were friends she could share anything with and didn't realize when she shared stuff with them that sometimes they took it as bragging. I feel the same. I have shared some things and later thought the friends thought I was bragging when I just thought I was sharing like friends share.

You know...you may be right on with this. Either way, the more I think on things the more I don't even want to continue the friendship if things blow over. She said some pretty hurtful things to me and about me and to me its just not worth the drama or the hassle.

Pretty boring day for me so far, what have I done you ask? Well I slept and then I picked Erich up from school, thrilling I know!

Tomorrow will be fun though, I get to call up the college application centre to challenge their assessment of my American high school transcript. The program director says that is the only way they can consider me for the Nursing program. Oh joy, I can't wait to argue with somebody over whether or not I took Biology and Chemistry in high school.

Luckily I still have an application in for the Nursing program at my university which has a lot more experience dealing with international transcripts (and they already admitted me and gave me one degree so why not another right?) so hopefully I won't encounter any problems there.

Finally had a shower and it's revived me for the moment, at least.

Weather still doesn't look good. I don't know. Sad... I just don't want to be missing another day of school.

Hopefully, at the worst we'll have delays, but get home tomorrow.

There's still some talk of a toy store shopping expedition, but I'm not sure that I'm necessary for that.

Ok now the foot, pretty good news. There were 2 nerves that were something or other with a major muscle in the foot. Probably because my gait is so bad due to my collapsing ankles. Anywho, 2 extremely painful cortisone shots later and I should be ok by morning. I didn't get the shot in the other foot, I go back Thursday for a follow up and to start the round of shots that I was supposed to today.

Other pug news...Bonnie the petsitter called me at work to let me know I left the gate opened. Namath greeted her at the door, Rocky was sprawled out on the couch and their toys were everywhere.

Yay on the foot news! the pups.

Lori: I totally understand that friend thing. Sometimes I have to remember that Yani can't do/go everywhere with me. It's hard sometimes and I can understand the jealousy. She's like a sis to me and sometimes I get jealous when she does stuff with her sister and not me.

Yeah, I get that way too. I do get jealous at times because BFF doesn't have kids and can come and go as she pleases. She can go out and party and drink and stay out late or go to the movies and out to dinner or just sit at home and watch TV without having to worry about kids and what to do with them. But at the same time I wouldn't want to trade places for the life of me. Yeah my life sucks but its my life and I like it. LOL

Started classes tonight and found out that two more of my classes are requiring observation hours on top of the student teaching hours. One class has me doing a two hour observation each week. I will squeeze this in on Friday mornings and the other class requires a 2-4 hour observation of a caregiver and infant. I still have two more classes I have not been to yet. I will see what they have me doing. Lucky for me I an student teaching in head start and will have easy access to any type of classroom I need for observations.

Man you are going to be one busy lady!

Well I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one who passed out early. I was so tired I went back to sleep at 10pm last night. The cats woke me up at 600, which was fine because I had to take out the garbage.

Not much going on. My friend Yani and our other friend are gonna have a Supernatual marathon since the new shows start this Thursday.

Morning all! Well, the weatherman was once again WRONG!!! When I went to bed last night they were predicting 2 inches of snow. When DD4 woke me up at 5:45 to wipe her bottom (TMI, I know), there was NOTHING! I was almost hoping for a school delay, but it was not to be. I guess the storm missed us.

DD4 isn't feeling well this morning. I've been up since right around 6am because she keeps having to go to the bathroom. In fact, I think she's sitting on the toilet right now. Obviously her tummy isn't doing well. Luckily we had nothing planned for today anyway. Hopefully she'll feel better later in the day and we'll be able to do something. But for now, I'm going to plan on cleaning and possibly scrapbooking today. Nothing too exciting.

So, it's been almost 20 years? He probably just wants to know what you're doing nowadays and what you look like. Most likely he won't actually maintain contact with you. That's what has happened with me. I've got a few ex-boyfriends on my friends list and most of them are married with kids. On top of that, none of them live near us either.

Good point! He still lives in MA, so not near us. He's not married, that I know of but I imagine it's pretty harmless.
Can you UNFRIEND someone? I mean, if Bob isn't thrilled with the idea.

My FB skeletons are coming out of the woodwork Mel! There's a limit to how much I'll divulge here, but let's just say some weren't exactly "boyfriends" per se, but they were more than "friends", too. A big-time, legit ex was one of my first FB friends and it's actually been really nice to chat with him again, but we were friends after being romantically involved and just lost touch about 15 years ago. Others, of the other category, keep showing up in my Suggested Friends, but I haven't touched them, lol!
