OMG. I'm so freakin' bored. I've been on ISS duty all day long with one kid who refuses to entertain me by telling me his life story.

I'm also on college look-out for a group of kids, helping them to gather information on colleges.

Oh...the highlight of the day?

I caught someone smoking the doobie weed in the back. Yays.

Not much is going on with me today. Both kids finally went back to sleep around 2-2:30 this morning. Good news was that Linds had a 2 hour delay because of snow and we were able to sleep in.

I finished all my cleaning and am waiting on a load of laundry to be done in the washer so I can switch things over and get a new one started.

My best friend and I are fighting and I've been e-mailing back and forth with her most of last night and this morning. I'm finally stopping the madness and not replying. Basically it boils down to her being jealous over my life. If you ever met me you would know my life is NOTHING to be jealous over. Trust me I live it on a daily basis. LOL But she said some things around our birthdays and I knew things were bugging her and then she brought a bunch of things up from the past that I knew bugged her but didn't think it was that big of a deal. She's most jealous over that I have a degree and could have a career but I choose to stay at home for now, that I've been married, and have 2 kids. She has none of that, has made some poor choices with her life and is basically having a pity party for herself. I've apologized to her but she doesn't really want to hear it or anything else I have to say so I'm letting it go until she decides to wake up and realize the world isn't going to revolve around her. Sorry if it sounds harsh but I'm just fed up.

Good news is I might be getting rid of one child tonight. My best friends mom (ironic, no? ) called this morning and asked if she could take DR to spend the night. She apparently just got a new puppy and is dying to show him off. Plus she figures DR would be the lesser of two evils. Lindsey would cling to the puppy and not put it down while DR will look at it and play with it but won't pick it up and forget about it halfway through. But, it all depends on the weather and if it snows. She lives up a really steep hill and in bad weather its hard to get down. Heck I don't even like going up and down it in good weather and have tried in bad weather and its never a ends up in a good way. LOL

Oh well, now that I've written a book, I'm getting off to do my laudry and watch a DVR'd show. I can't believe it's already 2! I gotta go get the kids in half an hour!!!

Yep, I'm updating on top. Sorry!
I am trying to KILL the panic with activity! I got SD off to school at 7, woke up Gus at 7:30, got him to school at 8:45, talked to the MIL on the phone, called the ortho who said to bring him right in, picked up SD and brought him to the ortho (where they fixed it! YAY, and now we don't have to go to the reg. appt. tomorrow! ) then delivered him back to school.

Then I went to the post office, bank, and gym. I worked out for 45 mins. then did some grocery shopping. I'm home now, need a shower and just got done my Lean Cuisine lunch.
WHEW! No time for stress! LOL.

Phew Mel...I'm tired just reading all that you have done!

I would go the 11/29 - 12/5, only becasue my mom always says the week after THanksgiving is pretty slow. Although with all the deals they are offering lately, I don't think there is a slow time anymore!

Thanks Janet. I'm leaning towards this date. The kids are *supposed* to go with their father for Thanksgiving this year. I say supposed because things can always change with him in a heartbeat and its pretty much a year away. Anyways, it would be fun to surprise the kids once they got back from being with him to a Disney trip.

We went down to BIL's and had a (very late) great Indian dinner, then went to the dive-iest dive bar ever, but they had a live country band playing until 3:30 on a Sunday night, so hey... Can't go wrong. BIL had class this morning, so we ONLY stayed out until about 1:30

You've definitely been busy! When Baby Girl woke up this morning I told her that it was going to be a lazy day today. We went to the grocery store and that's it. I really want to take a nap. I hardly slept all weekend. This old gal can't do that anymore.

When I was in HS, one day the police came with the drug dogs sniffing out the cars. One of the teachers told me he was getting a little nervous, hoping the dogs wouldn't go near his car. He was a young teacher, but had been teaching at our school for 3 years. That was his last year teaching. There was a rumor going around that he was going out with one of the students and I think it was true.

You don't owe her an apology. My sister and I were just talking about jealous friends. She was telling me that she just realized that when you have a best friend, you can't share everything with them. She has lost a couple of friends because she felt they were friends she could share anything with and didn't realize when she shared stuff with them that sometimes they took it as bragging. I feel the same. I have shared some things and later thought the friends thought I was bragging when I just thought I was sharing like friends share.

Sis2 got us each a martini glass. Mine has flipflops and bling painted on it. They are collectables.
Sis3 bought us bags that she had embroidered with our initials and a giftset from Bath & Body Works.


I forgot to tell this story. When sis3 didn't get hit on (she is actually the prettiest of all of us) I asked a guy to hit on her. She kept going on and on how she was the only one who didn't get hit on. She went to the bathroom and this guy started talking to me, so I asked him to hit on her. I told him, "She's going to turn you down because she's married." Later, he saw her and hit on her and she finally shut up.
