Thanks for all the Birthday wishes, it actually snowed here so we went sledging, there is probably only about 1-2 inches but that's tons for us. I've posted photos on FB :thumbsup2 Oh and it's just started snowing again and we're forecast heavy snow for tonight and tomorrow :yay:

The girls made me a cake yesterday and David is now cooking steak :)

Dawn have a great time at the show :goodvibes

Juspoppng i again befoe going to work agin!!I do plan to takTuesday off ! Have to clean but wil save Dis time!!

I was wondering about that movie... I saw it at Target but hadn't heard anything negative or positive. Is it like Terabithia?

I honestly don't know. There's a dream about going to space, and at some point the gourd burns his hand and then says, "I have a hose and I'm not afraid to use it." This is the info I got. :rotfl2: FWIW, our favorite girl twin friends (in first grade, too) were there and loved it, too.

The kids watched the movie as a group activity at the gym, 6 other parents and I played rotating-player doubles tennis, then ate at the restaurant at the gym, so I didn't see it. ;)

The pictures are great! I'm glad your family is treating you well (not that I expect otherwise!) :goodvibes

I spent the morning cleaning up and we went to the store for junk food supplies, and my friend will probably be here in about an hour. :thumbsup2 We're planning on a lot more play time than actual game-watching time - it's the Eastern Time Zone curse in this case - the friggin game doesn't start until 6:25 or something, and of course we're normally putting the kids to bed at 7:30. :confused3 Oh, well. They'll get good playtime beforehand.

:)

I think I'm going to power nap for a few minutes.

Have a great evening, all! I'll likely check back in once the company's gone and the kids are in bed. :grouphug:

Hello everyone!

I am resting today and hanging out on the computer. DH dropped a bomb shell on me and we may need to postpone our trip. I already booked airfare, I got $60 each way and the cancelation/rebooking fee is $75 per person, so that would be a total bummer! I am tempted on just going without dh! Seriously!

I have to go back, read and see how everyone is and what is going on. Hope to be back soon. :)

Ruh-roh. :guilty:

Going to see Mall Cop this afternoon, anybody seen it?

::yes:: Funny.

Good afternoon everyone! I know I gave a "blanket" thank you for all the welcomes last night, but I figured since everyone was so nice to welcome me, I thought I'd add a more personal touch!

Well, first I wanted to say happy birthday to Jo, whom I haven't met yet, but hope to soon!!

I'm sitting home again today because I still feel sick. I've had some kind of cold for 2.5 weeks now. Finally broke down and went to the dr's on Thurs and they gave me antibiotics to take. They haven't kicked in yet or something cuz I really don't feel any better. I've already missed 3 days from work due to this cold cuz I just had no energy to get out of bed. Even taking a shower took effort. All of this extremely cold weather we've been having, and snow and ice every few days isn't helping!! Anyways....here goes...

Welcome aboard. I'm Janet. Probation Officer Supervisor, mom, wife, and offical TFW Bookie!

We are a fun bunch, just jump right in and start chatting!

Thanks, Janet! Any idea how many of you there are here??

Hi Katt with two T's!! Thanks for the welcome. TFW Karaoke Queen? That sounds interesting!!

:rotfl: Welcome! I'm Angela and I live in Orlando.

Hi Angela! Lucky you to be in Orlando! I have another friend in Orlando and she was ready to pour warm water on her ice covered car windshield when you guys had that frost not too long ago. YIKES!

Hi. I'm Kristi and I don't wear Crocs.;)

Hi Kristi! I don't wear Crocs, either.

Hi there, and welcome back!

Hi PrincessV - thanks!!

Hello and welcome. I an Margie a single mom of two, student, and part time daycare worker. I pop in and out of here and have declared myself Focker Leader of all lurkers and lookers.

Hi Margie! Love the siggie pic - I love A Christmas Story!! Fragile - it must be Italian!

I stole mine by right clicking and saving picture to my computer. It is in my beloved Disney clip art folder.

Oh okay. Well that sounds easy enough. Thanks.

Hi Roberta, I'm Tracy - SAHM to DS4 and DD7 from So. Cal. :wave2:

Hi Tracy!! Lucky you being on the west coast where it's warm. I've never been to CA but we have friends and family there and hope to one day make it over there.

Also found out the foot pain, is planter fascitis:sad2: , or however you spell it. I'm taking meds and doing streching excercises for it. Don't tell the doc but my feet feel best when in crocs... NO surgery fot that at this point and no I still haven't scheduled the surgery for hte other issues. Gawd I hate my feet. And no matter what I am pushing myself to get on the treadmill, but I think I will have to break down and maybe spend the money on an elliptical, less stress on the feet.

Hi puggymom! Love the pugs with mickey ears! Too cute for words! I had plantar fascitis a few years ago, as well. I had to do exercises too, never had to take meds. I think we caught it early enough. But my podiatrist had me get those custom inserts made for my shoes and they really do help. I've never had surgery for that, but have had foot surgery on both feet and I've fractured one of my feet, too. Like you, I too hate my feet. My mother has bad feet, too (thanks, mom) it's always something with my feet and shoes and sneakers never seem comfortable. For me, just looking at Crocs makes my feet hurt!!
:welcome: one more time darlin'.

Just jump on in. I think one of us has a list of everyone and their "real-life" names somewhere.

There's quite a group of us. Take your time 'n jump right in. ::yes::

Thanks x 2 for the welcome!! Yes! Whew! Something like 5 more pages has been added since I last checked this thread last night! LOL Is there a story behind your profile picture? I'm guessing it must be your DS? Love the green hair but especially the hidden mickey! I love hunting for hidden mickeys!

E!
Roberta welcome tothe Fockers I am Rosie otherwise known as the Whiz! You wll not take lng to find out why!!:rotfl2: I am the senior member of this groupm(I think) and as you will see they are very respectful of my age :lmao: I am a Grandma to 3We all live together andI work a lot !!How else would I go to Disney every year!!ave you got any LGMHs yet!!?????

Hi Rosie - the Whiz! Wow three grandkids - good for you! Do you take everyone to Disney every year??

Yes I'm working on my LGMHs for my upcoming trip. The DF was nice enough to stop into HD for me one afternoon and he did get a few alien green, but also some other color green - and when I told him those were the wrong color, he shook his head and said, but they're still lime green, what's the difference?

Hi Roberta :wave2:

Hi Janet!!

Hi, Roberta, I'm CE, SAHM to twin 6 year old boys. I live in NH but still consider myself to be "from" Illinois. My DH is a corporate pilot, so sometimes I'm a lucky single mom - doing everything, but it's paid for by someone else :thumbsup2 - and sometimes I have a fantastic guy around, but can't be on the computer as much. ;)

Hi CE! Twins how awesome!! I've never been to IL but I've been to NH a few times to visit and photograph some of the lighthouses. We stayed around the Portsmouth area, I believe. Does your DH get to fly you places, too??

Hi Roberta! I'm Jodi. I'm a SAHM to two beautiful girls, aged 7 and almost 5 (on Tuesday). They keep me pretty busy, but I try to find time to keep up around here. Sometimes it's really hard though, since some of these ladies actually work for a living, but spend all day on the computer! :sad2: :rotfl2:

Hi Jodi! Hey my birthday is on Tuesday, too!! Ah yes, some people get to have internet access at work, but we're not allowed, so I can never have fun on the computer while at work...I'm jealous of those who can!!

Welcome Roberta!!! :cheer2:

Hi! thanks!!

Whew! Sorry for how long that ended up being! I couldn't use any smilies cuz it was telling me the smiley limit has been exceeded. LOL

Well tomorrow is groundhog day and if that furry little rodent sees his shadow and bestows another six weeks of winter on us, he's going to get hurt!!!!

Have a nice night everyone!! And thanks again for the warm welcome!!

First...I hope you start feelin' a bit better. ::yes:: No fun to be sick.

And yes, that is Jon, my DS. For his 11th birthday, we took him to the Main Street Barber and they duded up his hair like that.

I love that picture. :)

Howdy Fockers! I missed you all SO much!

Before I get to my monologue :rotfl2: , I have to say:

:cake: Happy Birthday LL:cake:

AND
:cake:Happy Birthday Jo:cake:

Ok, back to my report:
Well, the trip was GREAT! I won't be bothering with a TR since I've not finished my June one.....LOL. Here's the rundown though...
Day one: The boys and I flew out at 7 am (early!!) and arrived in Orlando by 9:35 am. ME went smoothly and we met Bob at SSR at around 11. Had lunch with the inlaws and then took the boys to swim. Room was ready at 2 pm. YAY! Got moved in, and went out to grab groceries with the inlaws car. They left shortly after that. Had dinner with Angela and Mitch! Loved the dinner, loved them, loved the theming at TREX. Loud though!
Day two: We went to Epcot around 10 am. Did TT, Soarin, MS, Nemo ride, and then hit the WS. Visited all countries, did the Kim Possible thing in France (awesome, will post seperately about it) and then rode the Maelstrom. (Did you guys know that's a FP ride, LOL?) Skipped dinner at 9 Dragons in favor of fish at UK. Bob had mexican, he doesn't like fish...watched Illum. and left park.
Day three: was going to be MK day but the weather was looking chancy for a Fri. trip to BB, so the boys all went there and I went to DTD for shopping. Met boys back at SSR and then we went to MK for Space Mtn, Splash Mtn and then Cosmic Rays for dinner. Watched Wishes and back to SSR.
Day four: Visited AK, rode EE twice, boys rode Dinosaur, line HUGE for Primevil Hurl so escaped that one! YAY!, TTBAB, and then lunch at Flame Tree BBQ *family FAVE* and then SD and I left the park. Poor Bob got roped into riding P.Hurl with Gus (haha) and then they went to AKL for a cab to the golf course. Meanwhile SD and I went to SSR, grabbed swimsuits and had drinks (he had non-alcohol...) at the pool. Bob and Gus returned at 6pm and we hung out at the resort (took Gus to pool) and waited to see Yani and Z. Bob and I had drinks at the hottub for a while and then went back upstairs! Y and Z arrived later and we all slept!
Day five: Yani and Z were gone when we woke up (no rope drops for us, we are GRUMPY if we try that!) and we had orange rolls and coffee. Exchanged a few txts with them and figured we'd meet up later. Bob and SD were going to Segway at FWCampground, so Gus and I went to DHS. We grabbed two FPs for TSM right away (this is at 10 am, and they were for 7, which was closing time) Rode ToT, RnR, GMR and then got a call from Y and Z. They met us there and about 5 mins later SD and Bob showed up! We got FPs to ride RnR later, rode ToT, and then S.wars. Then it started raining! We bugged out for our ADR at SciFi and then met them again at the Animation room to draw Bolt! Really Really Hard! Oh, we all made it onto the TSM later sometime, and the kids rode twice! So fun! We all had over 120K I think!! We went to ride RnR and then decided to leave. It was so rainy! They went to try to catch Wishes and we got on the bus to head back. We hung out at the room, reading and drinking. Y and Z arrived, and we chatted for a while till they had to drive home.
Day six: This day dawned pretty chilly. We had great temps/weather all week but this day was cold. We bundled up and hit MK. Rode HM, SpaceMtn, BTMR, Barnstormer, teacups, TTA, Indy cars and had another meal at Cosmic Rays with SD. Gus and Bob went for funnel cakes. Sd and I got one too when we made it over there. We stayed until about 4 pm. Had our dole whip and left. We went directly to DtD and got the kids into D.Quest. Then Bob and I retired to Raglan Rd. for drinks (many) and scallops!!! YUM. We got the kids out about 8 pm, ran to the CR for our Chef Mickey buffet and ate! Whew! The inlaws arrived and we came back to them at SSR. Chatted while packing up. They spent the night.
Day seven: Got up early, packed up inlaws, Bob, kids and went to the Poly for Tonga Toast. YUM. Came back to room, chilled out, finished packing all stuff up. Took boys to Quest again for an hour or so, then said goodbyes to inlaws. Got one last meal at Artist palette and then got on ME. Got back to MI about 11 pm. Home by 11:30.

Bob's doing the laundry. I got the food. Kids finished the little bit of homework they had and now they are gaming. It was the BEST trip we've ever had in Disney! SD had a great week, he was so happy it was a huge relief. I loved LOVED seeing Angela, Mitch, Yani and Z. I love them all and it made my week even better to include them. Z made me the most amazing scrapbook and I can't wait to put my pictures into it. She is so amazingly talented. :goodvibes

I cleaned before I left so the house is fine, and I'm glad to be home. I'll miss WDW but I'm already planning our next trip (Dec 09) so that will keep me going.

I did read all the pages I missed (79-120 whew!) so I know whats going on. Rather than making this EVEN LONGER, I'll just give out my  now. I am thinking about all of you and I hope things get better soon. It's important to know that you have all of us praying and thinking positive. It helps!!!

So, I'll be first again tomorrow Janet. OK?

LOL

MEL:banana:

OH, I'll put the pics on FB soon. (and if you want a link to see them if you ARENT on FB, just PM me....)
