Evenin' Fockers! WHEW, that was a lot of pages, considering the extreme lack of Sprench or Franish! Sounds like many hugs are needed and I've got plenty to go around :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

It's FREEZING down here in FL... literally - we're under a freeze warning tonight! I'm hunkering down with a roraing fire and a movie.

Hi everyone! :wave2: I'm new to this thread, but not new to LGMHPCs, the lime look, I have my Focker watch tshirt from a few years ago and have met some Disers as a result of both the shirt and my LGMHs, etc.
Hi there, and welcome back!

Just popping in
A Jo sighting, a Jo sighting!!! :wave2:

Hi everyone! :wave2: I'm new to this thread, but not new to LGMHPCs, the lime look, I have my Focker watch tshirt from a few years ago and have met some Disers as a result of both the shirt and my LGMHs, etc. I've given the lime look at the parks, but never got acknowledged...probably someone just happening to wear lime green that day and thought I was a nutjob. LOL

You all seem like a fun, wild and crazy bunch from a bunch of the posts I've read and I'm glad that the lime look and Focker Watch is still alive. I love meeting Disers at WDW! :goodvibes
Hello and welcome. I an Margie a single mom of two, student, and part time daycare worker. I pop in and out of here and have declared myself Focker Leader of all lurkers and lookers.
OOoooooooh. New blood. ;)
That kind of sounds a little scary :scared1:

pixiedust: Happy Birthday Lauraleepixiedust:

Hi everyone! Wow thanks for the warm welcome!! It's nice to meet all of you! :goodvibes

I'm Roberta from freezing cold CT. I'm a single mom, too (and feeling very old as my son will be 24 this year...yikes!) but I may as well be married...I've been engaged for 10 years - I think that makes us married in some states. We've been together for 11 years.

I'm a senior stenographer in the detective div. at the local police dept. ::cop:

I single handedly turned my DF into a Disney nut. We're both suffering withdrawal symptoms as we weren't able to make our WDW trip in 2008 because we had to have a dead tree removed from our front lawn, replace it with another one and have a driveway put in, so that blew the Disney budget. We were so anxious to go that we're not waiting until our usual time to go Sept/Oct...we're going the last week of April, first few days of May. I'm hoping the crowds aren't too bad. I can't wait!!!! I'm kinda bummed that Space Mountain will be closed for refurbishment. :sad1: I started an April 2009 list thread and while there's tons of Disers going in April, there's not many at POFQ....seems most are staying at POP. I think Disers are gonna OWN POP in April. :disrocks:

I've gotta ask...where do you get that really cute lime look smiley?? I LOVE it!!! What's funny is, I love Ben Stiller and own all of his movies, I'm also a huge DeNiro fan and Meet the Parents is one of my favorite movies so when the I'm watching you Focker gesture became the lime look I thought it was the greatest thing ever! :thumbsup2

Ok all I need your help here. Nothing life altering but still I am at a loss as to what to do.

Bug made me a great picture today of all of us in a car driving to WDW. He drew the car with us in it and lots of detail. He drew MK and the rides. He even drew little short dashes showing the route the car would take.
The problem is the paper he used. We have several pieces of poster board left over from making yard sale signs. I let him do what ever with them. We also have poster board that is heavy cardboard and folds shut. They cost about $5 each and he is not to use them. I did not realize one of them was in the same area. When he pulled it, to make our count down calender, I told him he could not use it and I put it back.

We then made a count down calender for the trip and he wanted to do more art work. I told him to get another piece of poster board and make what ever he wanted. He carried out the expensive board again and I told him to put it back and get one of his red pieces. He left the room and I thought he was doing what I told him. Instead he decided to just draw on it in the dining room. When I went in to see what he was drawing I saw he didn't trade the poster board.
I took his markers from him for the day and took the picture away. I did let him know it was great but it was too bad he didn't listen and draw it on the correct paper.

Now what do I do. I love this picture and would like him to finish it. I don't want him to think that he can disobey me and it will be o.k. and I think just giving back the picture and saying don't do this again will lead to that. I thought maybe I could tell him since he used something I told him not to he would have to pay for it. It can't really be used now for anything.
How do I give this back and him still learn a lesson or is this just not possible.

What do I do? Help!

Hi everyone! Wow thanks for the warm welcome!! It's nice to meet all of you! :goodvibes
Hi Roberta, I'm Tracy - SAHM to DS4 and DD7 from So. Cal. :wave2:
What do I do? Help!
Honestly I would give him back the picture and tell him that this time, it's a warning and that next time there would be _____________ as punishment. I'm a bit of a push over, though. :guilty:

Got nothing really going on. The weather really was beautiful today. Mid-70's lots of sunshine. We spent most of the day outside. :sunny: Got all the food for tomorrow's Super Bowl. Who's playing anyway? I think the Steelers, cause I saw some guys selling t-shirts at the 7-11. Oh and a red team??? :confused3 I wanted to make CE's Italian beef, but Waldo can't have red meat, and he loves that, so I thought not to torture him. :rolleyes2

I may watch The Duchess tonight. .... any reviews?? Or Benjamin Button. :teeth:

I liked Benjamin Button. My brother and I saw it with my mom. Brother liked it and my mom did not care for it.

About the posterboard that is what I really want to do because I am a big push over too.

Hi Fockers,
It was a crazy week, the end of year end for me, just some clean up and then we just review what went right and what didn't so next year can be better!

Also found out the foot pain, is planter fascitis:sad2: , or however you spell it. I'm taking meds and doing streching excercises for it. Don't tell the doc but my feet feel best when in crocs... NO surgery fot that at this point and no I still haven't scheduled the surgery for hte other issues. Gawd I hate my feet. And no matter what I am pushing myself to get on the treadmill, but I think I will have to break down and maybe spend the money on an elliptical, less stress on the feet.

Namath's stitches are out and I don't think I posted but the tumor was benign:cool1: No more episodes with Rocky, so I think we are back to normal.

I so can't wait to get on that plane next Sunday, I really need to just get away from everything.

So what's been going on around here? ANything important? I haven't been to FB in ages, so I will pop over there too.

Later Fockers!

Just jump on in. I think one of us has a list of everyone and their "real-life" names somewhere.

There's quite a group of us. Take your time 'n jump right in. ::yes::

I agree with T. But, I'm a pushover. ;)

Hi, Roberta, I'm CE, SAHM to twin 6 year old boys. I live in NH but still consider myself to be "from" Illinois. My DH is a corporate pilot, so sometimes I'm a lucky single mom - doing everything, but it's paid for by someone else :thumbsup2 - and sometimes I have a fantastic guy around, but can't be on the computer as much. ;)

Ok all I need your help here. Nothing life altering but still I am at a loss as to what to do.

I think T has it down.

I wanted to make CE's Italian beef, but Waldo can't have red meat, and he loves that, so I thought not to torture him. :rolleyes2

Well, that was nice of you, not to torture him. Woody asked for it for tomorrow, too, but I don't have a roast and it's too late to start it by morning.

My friend decided to come here for the game, so my morning tomorrow will be some quick pick up and shopping. No biggie, but I won't be around much.

The basketball game was fun and the tennis/dinner/movie for kids went really well - they watched some new straight-to-DVD from Disney "The Secret of the Magic Gourd". Buzz LOVED it, Woody seemed to like it well enough.

I'm really sleepy for no apparent reason. I think I'll take the dog out pretty soon and call it a night, especially since I can't be totally lazy tomorrow. Good night, everyone!

Oh, and it's after midnight in the UK, so...
pixiedust: pixiedust: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pixiedust: pixiedust:

Cripes, I thought I'd quoted Mo, but apparently not, and I am not awake enough to remember.

Anyway, I'm sorry about the foot, but glad there's no surgery right now, and I'm so glad for Namath. :thumbsup2

Hi MO! Glad to hear about Namath & Rocky! Sorry about the feet thing. I had plantar fascitis in college and it stunk! I was in the marching band and had to take a break from it. I hope yours clears up quickly! My mom got special insoles made for hers, but I'm not sure it helps.

Hi Roberta! I'm Jodi. I'm a SAHM to two beautiful girls, aged 7 and almost 5 (on Tuesday). They keep me pretty busy, but I try to find time to keep up around here. Sometimes it's really hard though, since some of these ladies actually work for a living, but spend all day on the computer! :sad2: :rotfl2:

Yay Namath glad you are on the mend.

Thanks ladies. I just wanted to give it back but didn't want to seem like a push over. Since many of us are I am going to just go with the group and give it back. I will remind him that next time he does something like that he will have to pay me back with money or a toy. I will return the markers tomorrow as I told him when I took them.
