I'm pooped! I helped with Lindsey's Valentine's party and I have no idea how a teacher does it all day long! They are all so talkative and then of course Lindsey had to be clingy. She's 6 you'd think she'd be out of that stage.

Oh well they are down from their sugar high and are playing some kind of game. I'm going to join them by relaxing on the couch and ordering out for dinner.

Thanks for the feed back on this whole School thing.

I will say this.. the e-mail... besides typo's and such is SUGAR COATED.
There are issues... Teachers are either oblivious or choosing to NOT GET INVOLVED...

 • A kid telling a teacher before class "I will not partner with Sarabeth again" and the teacher not really doing anything about it when he petitioned his case.
 • Sara being allowed to "Sit at the girls table but only where THEY SAY SHE CAN. None of the teachers are in the Lunchroom at the time.
 • She can not sit with anyone she MIGHT be able to talk with during lunch, as they HAVE TO SIT WITH THEIR HOMEROOM...
 • She has gone to school with 95% of these girls since Kindergarten... she knows them and they know her.. somehow last year about this time... there rose up an "Anti Sarabeth Movement" and it has never stopped.
Sarabeth has not been mean to anybody.. she always tries to befriend any new kids.. but they quickly see the "popular" kids... and that's where they migrate to.

While the e-mail back to me looks like she is working on things... let me assure you she is not..

I have just about finished compiling my thoughts to The Principal and the Guidance Counselor and the teachers..

Hi girls! (and Mr. T!) :wave2:

It's been a long and crazy week! :upsidedow Trying to catch up here is nearly impossible! :faint:

I was supposed to go to DLR today, but we got rained out - so we're stuck at home bored, bored, bored. :bored:

On the flip side, I did buy a couple of bottles of Shiraz today, so who's gonna chillax with me tonight? :confused3 :rolleyes1

He kissed me for the first time .... 9 months later.. we got married....

Hmm......ok, I'll strike kissing off the teen list too.......that 9 months is just too scary. ;)

Are you sure you have them all. ??.. I had one here yesterday figured it was your's:rolleyes:

I hope it's not "Twisted Metal" but the way those things are made today I bet it is. :guilty: Tramploine was my favorite childhood toy as well. We got ours when I was 5 I played on it Till I was in College.

I know---she's just staring at it forlornly in the gully.....she practices her backhandsprings and tucks on it every day---even in winter.

))))))))))))))))

Read the guidance note---yes, it seems nice, but I do wonder what they are DOING about the situation.

The kids have had "anti bullying " assemblies all week.:confused3

------------
Ab went to school! She says she's still cramping but wanted to stay the whole day since she'd missed so much. So hopefully a good weekend! (she likes weekends!)

:faint: Photographic evidence of another Focker Meet. We are on a roll this year:thumbsup2

They look great Angela!:thumbsup2

After actually getting Jim to agree to look at Menu's and help me actually decide something (::faint::, you may all take a moment to take that in) We have decided on the following meals for our trip...in no particular order

Chef Mickey's - Dinner
Kona - Breakfast
Crystal Palace - Lates Lunch seating or earliest dinner seating
Capt. Jack's - Dinner
50's Prime Time - Lunch
Garden Grill - DInner
Boma - Dinner

Not planning any TS for AK day. We always do (look away T) Pizzafari for lunch and then swimming and dinner at the hotel on this day. AK is always an energy drainer for us.

So, what do you all think!? I know V said Capt. Jack's was good. KAtt said she wasn't fond of CP, but we have done breakfast there several times. Thought this would be different so we'd give it a try.

Looks good. Well, except Garden Grill. I'm afraid to try that place. My Dbro loved it, yet Andy and Waldo hated it. :confused3

:scared: Yuck.

I prefer the lunch at CP - I wasn't overly fond of the dinner choices. I guess I love the cold buffet on a hot day. The salads alone are worth the price, IMO.

Now Capt. Jack's doesn't appeal to me in the least. :confused3

I had Tusker House down for dinner, but I'm thinking of switching it to Boma or even trying out the new TS at Kidani Village, Sanaa. :scratchin:

If I rmemebr fromone V's reports she really liked it too. We are going there mostly becasue the only request Jimmy made was to eat with Chip & Dale and that is the ONLY Place they are anymore:sad2:

THat's what we are thinking. GO to DHS in the AM, head to MK for lunch and then hang out the rest of the day!

I just like the look of the place:confused3

I didn't want to do the breakfast there again, and the menu looks pretty similar to Boma and we want to try Boma ::yes::

:lmao: Do it Janet! Beside I think MS has me on the same list as V. :rotfl2:

Really? Evan only requested Chef Mickey's - thank God! And Maddie really hasn't said much about anything. She did mention she's OVER BBB - well, that and we found out they're adding BBB to DLR. Help ME! :faint:

Yeah, the breakfast was ok. I thought if we did dinner, we could see the park at night. Never done that before. :upsidedow

I'm from South Philly, I'm Italian...I know people;)

Jimmy had so much fun with Chip and Dale last year so....He also request the guys...meaning Mickey, Goofy, etc...

Sounds perfect! :thumbsup2

Yeah, the breakfast was ok. I thought if we did dinner, we could see the park at night. Never done that before. :upsidedow

We never have either :confused3 We always go at rope drop and leave right after the parade...it works for us!:thumbsup2

Here's a question since we are new to the DDP...how do you keep track of what credits you use and to make sure you aren't being charged more credits than you dhould be. I just read a TR where the writer was saying they had to concierge several times to get credits back, etc.:confused3

Just keep checking your receipts after you use a credit. You'll know that on day 1 you should have 21 TS credits (for a 7 day trip- 3 people) and on day 4 you should be down to 9 TS credits. The only thing I had a hard time keeping up with was the snack credit. We started with 40 (on our 10 day trip) and we'd use them pretty liberally and yet, we still seemed to have so many left at the end of the trip - I think like 24 or something. :headache:

Hello Fockers! Wow, today was a busy day! I finished putting groceries away this afternoon, picked up SD, dropped him at home and made it to Gus' V Day party (only 4 minutes late because I had to park a 1/2 mile away!!). He had a good time but the room mom decided they would play Valentine's Bingo and she was YELLING out the spots on the card in the most SHRILL voice. I still have a headache and it was 4 hours ago! Ugh.

However, the kids all had to bring in a box that they created at home to put their valentines into and they were going to vote as a class on the prettiest, most creative, best overall, funniest and coolest. Gus won best overall!!! He was pretty happy about that.

We had BLT's for dinner tonight (which are N O T good for you under any circumstances, but I love them) and then the boys went off to play video games with Bob.

I've had a hot shower and some clean jammies. I'm going to pour some wine (don't want T to drink alone) and then just CHILL. I'm wiped out.

Katt: I have learned in my many years dealing with schools that sometimes just the fact that they know you are WATCHING, makes them toe the line. You know?

Angela: You are getting quite good with the photos! I love the one of the Brown Derby with the broom in front! Good job getting the Focker Photo!

T: Hello Stranger! Did you survive all your party/kids/school stuff!?

Janet: Love Boma. Great breakfast. We haven't had dinner here, but I'm sure it's good. Oh, and I've never eaten at GG either. I know what you mean about AK wiping you out. It's the dang heat. It's as hot as ACTUAL Africa there!!!!

BACON!!!! Yum!!! :hyper: I'm so sick of WW! Blech! :headache:

Yup - I'm so OVER Valentines Day. If I see another cut-out heart, someone's going to DIE! :lmao:

OMGosh! I forgot to tell you guys what happened at Maddie's class party. Don't know if you remember at Christmas time, I got like ZERO help from other parents and basically had to pony-up everything for the kids party, right?
Well, I decided I'd save myself the drama and just plan the party myself. I didn't call any parents for help or donations, and did it my way. NOFrankSinatra. Well, I walked in the class and the back table was FILLED with goodies. Cupcakes, chips, Capri Sun, cookies, brownies.. you name it. The teacher was freakin' LIVID! She does NOT like to have surprises, at ALL! And besides, it pretty much ruined the party I created, since we couldn't exactly send home all that stuff. :headache: I decided to bring my goodies home and I gave them to my nephews and kept one tray for us. WW Tracy has been battling fat Tracy to not eat them. :sad2: I found it hilarious that when you ask for help, no one's willing. But when you don't they send a bunch of crap. I don't get it. :confused3

************************************************
Tomorrow morning we have a Brownie outing. The local Lowe's is having a "Make a Valentine Jewelry Box" event for free. I signed my troop up and they get a Fun Patch for completing the project. I'm actually looking forward to it, except for the fact that we have to meet at 8:30 am. :faint:

I forgot to mention that because of the AI opening yesterday, Ryan Seacrest, Justin Guarini :confused3, and someone else were at MGM today. I may have seen them, but I don't know what they look like. :rotfl2: Apparently other people were impressed though.

I'm so sick of WW! Blech! :headache:

I gave up. Got frustrated and then was stressed out last week:guilty:

======================================================

I forgot that we were having my girlfriend's son over for dinner tonight. Her Dh works until 7pm and she was taking her DD on a Brownie overnight camp thing. No idea what it is, she lost me after she said the word camp:scared: Anyway her DH just came and picked him up and now my whole night is a little off kilter.:headache: Letting Jimmy play for about 20 minutes until we go up for bath and bed!

I gave up. Got frustrated and then was stressed out last week:guilty:
No, Janet! You gotta get back on the wagon with me. C'mon girl! Giddyup! I've lost 10 pounds thus far, and you've lost what 8 or 9?

:lmao: I get a glazed look over my eyes when my troop mentions camping. I tell them "Girls, Mrs. Tracy does not camp!" :snooty: Thankfully my co-leader does. So, on our first overnight, Mrs. Tracy will be helping out at the campsite until dark and then checking into the nearest hotel. :teeth:
