Mitch is going to South Carolina tomorrow for the day to get medical clearance to leave the country. Would it be wrong to wish they found something a little serious so he can't go, but not too serious?

The pool resurfacing is to start Friday! Yippee!

Congrats to you CE! I don't get over to the TR boards as much any more. I could use a good TR to fill in my Disney woes. Any suggestions?

DS has Flu Like symptoms and was tested for the Flu and Strep. Both were negative, so we think it's viral. He still has a 102 temp (day 5) and a terrible cough, which is really stirring up the asthma. The good thing is that he has read 3 chapter books whilst he has rested.

Frankly, I wasn't much getting there either!

Gee, sounds like what I was just told by my doctor. I broke down and called to get a good appointment for tomorrow, but was told that this is a viral going around - lasting 12-14 days, fever for 2-3, laryngitis, not a lot of congestion but horrible cough. Yep. At least it's not pneumonia...

Hey everyone.

Love and pixie dust to the sickies!

Even tho KC is only working the 3-midnight shift 3 days, its already weirding my schedule out! I feel like its morning, but its almost 4pm.

He made us breakfast today tho, which was nice. Cheese omelets and bacon and toast and coffee. Well I made the coffee, but I'm particular about my coffee.

Not much going on, hoping to finish cleaning the top shelf of my closet and hopefully get to the few things in the storage closet I want to clean out.

We have been selling stuff on craigslist and have 3 takers coming for 2 digital cameras and some silk flowers i have, on Thursday. I am excited at the prospect of the extra $! it's going into the "5th Anniversary Weekend Celebrations" fund.

I will most likely be working as a census taker after next week! I just have to go next week for the test then they call after that. it's temp but its good $. I need to get out of the house so i'm excited at the prospect.

Anyone watching The Bachelor or Big Love????

I need some Focker Prayers for Phil's baby !!! She goes into surgery today to remove the fluid and infection in her lungs and chest !!! It is so stressful for both of them His wife is under contract to work as a nurse in NYC and he doesn't have the time accrued to take off the whole time !! I am covering his on call till I go to Disney and another manager will take it from there !! Pleas Pray for the baby to recover and for Phil and his wifr for the strength to indure this !!!

Big Love is an HBO show. it's about a man and his polygamist family. It's a strange show but I have watched since the beginning so I still watch. And no I don't get HBO, I download it.

As a beginner, no particular racket is needed. Since she's smaller, go for light - around 8 oz. (Mine's 9.9, which is pretty heavy for a girl, but I'm big.)

Just find a nice pro, and have fun!

I feel a touch better this morning. Not great, still coughing, but I'm not feeling so "sick" as yesterday. I've not taken a temp, but I don't feel feverish.

I got the kids on the bus and did some of the little cleaning jobs. I don't want to drag out the steamer or vacuum yet, but I polished my glass-top stove, did the upstairs tub, made the guest room bed, etc. I think I'm going to nap again for a bit. I need a quick grocery store run, then I can do the big machine cleaning (which isn't hard, just that I don't want to get that out, then stop, then start, then stop...) The benefit of the 10 p.m. arrival is that I don't have to rush to get stuff done.

My golf got cancelled, I went to the club, got all ready and was waiting for my opposition to arrive when she called the club to say she had a flat tyre so wouldn't be coming! I still haven't heard from her though which is really weird, maybe she'll just give me the match

So instead I did a bit of shopping, lots of laundry, hoovered, tidied and hung a mirror. I'm not quite happy with it though as I think it needs to be a bit higher but never mind

Late check in for me. The internet was down since 8:00am. Not much happening. Work, school, work, school you get the picture. We have the DIrect TV people coming to hook up the Dish on Saturday so I may take Friday off so I can get everything ready for that

I have a pork roast in the crock pot for BBQ pork sandwiches for dinner. Jim has after school power hour so we will get dinner started a bit later than normal. Jimmy was a bear getting up today so hopefully we can get him into bed early tonight.
