I'd love to see you all! :goodvibes
I sent you the deets on FB. :goodvibes

Good point! What about a part-time job, say at Disney? Then you wouldn't have to put out the money for your AP;) becasue you get unlimited admission AND can take so many people in at a time 15 times. You would be great doing something like my mom does. A seater/greeter. No tips, but she really likes it!:thumbsup2
That sounds like a great idea! What a great way to spend your extra time. :thumbsup2

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I want to buy a CD of music from the parks. On Amazon, the one I'm finding looks the best is Disney's Happiest Celebration on Earth .
Any other suggestions? :confused3
Oh, CE... how I love reading your posts. Just when I think I'm the only one with a crazy life, you've gone and beat me! :rotfl2: LOVE YA! :hug:
Hey, I'm glad to provide comic relief. ;)
Well it looks like everyone else is having crazy ridiculous days too!
::yes::
Dang. :sad2:
*****************************************************
I'm in a MUCH happier mood. WE WON!!!! Woohoo! :cool1: The first set took 1 hour, 15 minutes, and we had to do a set tiebreak, very evenly matched and hard work. Then, we won the second set 6-0! :cool2:
Then, I came home, and there's nothing in the bucket! :rotfl2:
We are trying to figure out if we want to take the kids out to see Santa and do their "brother shopping" tonight or tomorrow. D thinks he has to go to the office tomorrow, so tonight is better for him. But, I think the kids have more homework tonight than tomorrow, so for them tomorrow is better. But that's only if they have to take their "make your friend a card" cards tomorrow and not hold it until Tuesday. I hope to find out more from them now - I just heard the bus. :thumbsup2
No, they think their WDW friends live near WDW.
You are evil:rotfl:
Humo Day, huh? :rotfl2:
What was I trying to say:confused:
That's a good idea. I used to cut most of my clients kids as well. It's so much easier for most people.
That's what I am thinking. We could all go at the same time. Jim could sit with Jimmy while I get my haircut and then we could run our errands afterwards.:thumbsup2
FYI - Death by Chocolate sounds like a good way to go. ;)
Absolutely!
Disney's pretty hard core about your "costume". If you didn't have your name badge, you couldn't work. At DLR the CM's have a hidden stash and they just grab one to avoid being sent home.
::yes:: Mom says they keep stashes in the hostess stand for such emergencies!
Positive thoughts that all will be well!
:sad2:
I'm in a MUCH happier mood. WE WON!!!!
:yay:
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
:faint: I have been in a meeting since 10:30 this morning. There is a grant application that is due December 31st and no one knew how to complete it...gee, ya think maybe you shouldn't have transferred me:rolleyes1.
Other than that not much going on. BBL!:flower3:
Hi Fockers! I've read along these past few days but haven't felt like posting much. I'm feeling achy and feverish all over. :sick:
Not much else had been going on here and we've been having a pretty quiet week. Both kids will be home next week so I'm hoping I feel better by then and that neither of them get something.
Hope y'all are having a good Wednesday!
We may even squeeze in some ice skating in the park if we have time (esp. since it's free!). And Friday is Christmas Cookie day!
Whoa! Doesn't that hurt your back? Be careful. :hug:
Very, very sad. :guilty:
Hey, I'm glad to provide comic relief. ;)
Then, I came home, and there's nothing in the bucket! :rotfl2:
:thumbsup2
I'll burn a copy for you, Dork. :surfweb:
Mel:banana:
Can you burn me one too, Mel? :teeth:
You are evil:rotfl:
Well, I figure what they don't know won't hurt them, right? :rolleyes1 We'll tell them AFTER we get home. :lmao:
What was I trying to say:confused:
Happy hump day, I think? :scratchin:
I thought I quoted Lori..... Feel better, Lori! :hug:
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
So, if all my shopping is done, then WTH do I keep buying stuff? Dang! :headache: I heart CostPlus, so I went there and bought a bunch of stuff and then I got Andy a stocking and stuffed it with little things for him.... Vanilla syrup for his coffee, some chocolate/peanut pretzel rods, etc. We said no gifts, but I wanted to give him something to thank him for everything. :lovestruc
I've got to pick up Mads and then head to the dentist with Evan. I just noticed last week that a new tooth came in, but the baby tooth is still there looking all wonky. Need to see what needs to be done and then he'll get is bi-annual cleaning. Fun, right? :sad2:
Maddie got an award today for Outstanding Achievement and report cards came out and both kids got good marks, so we're heading out to dinner to celebrate! :woohoo: No cooking for me!!!
Aren't you all proud of me for keeping up with the Fockers?
Sigh.
Well, that's too sweet for words. ;)
I just noticed last week that a new tooth came in, but the baby tooth is still there looking all wonky. Need to see what needs to be done and then he'll get is bi-annual cleaning.
Buzz had the same issue. They said if it didn't come out in a week, they'd pull it. I see on FB though that Evan lost his. ;)
Maddie got an award today for Outstanding Achievement and report cards came out and both kids got good marks, so we're heading out to dinner to celebrate! :woohoo: No cooking for me!!!
Yay, kids!
**********************************************************
We had the kids come in and do their cards first thing, without saying we were going anywhere, so they took as much time as they would have anyway. They were done before 4:00, so we went out. There was a bit of a line for Santa, but not like a weekend. The saw the big man, then we split up and they got each other's gifts. Buzz & I got D's gift, too, but D said Woody was too hungry and tired to shop for me. He can take them out later.
Then, we went out for dinner. BBQ joint - pretty good, but I ate too much.
So... That's that. I had a wine to celebrate the tennis win, and now I'm just sleepy. :rotfl:
Got invited to lunch after tennis tomorrow, so that's my plan. Then I need to run back to the mall to pick up something Buzz wants. Thought I could get it cheaper on amazon.com, even ordered it with my phone, but then got a message that they're out of stock and won't get it back before Christmas. So, I'll have to go grab it there, because there's no reason to pay for shipping from the third party sellers on amazon who do have it in stock. :thumbsup2
All right. TV and couch call... we got a ton of new HD channels today kind of out of nowhere, so we're trying to figure out what some of them even are. :rotfl:
WTG Maddie and Evan. We have Jimmy's teacher conference tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed!
Aren't you all proud of me for keeping up with the Fockers?
::yes:::hug:
We had the kids come in and do their cards first thing,
Jimmy did his class cards tonight too. He doesn't need them until the 23rd, but I wanted to get them done so he wouldn't rush through them!
Nah, it's always nerve wracking. It sounds like he's having a good year, though. I'm sure he's doing great. :hug:
Took a bath, took the dog out, thinking I'm heading to bed early. D's totally asleep on the couch, and I never know whether to just let him get some sleep, as he doesn't sleep well as a rule, or if it's mean to leave him on the couch. :confused3 :rotfl2:
Sleep well - see you in the morning. :grouphug:
T: No problemo, it will be a couple days till I can get it in the mail to you but I'll do it!
Mel:banana:
Well, that's too sweet for words. ;)
I know, did it make you throw up a little? :lmao:
Buzz had the same issue. They said if it didn't come out in a week, they'd pull it. I see on FB though that Evan lost his. ;)
::yes:: and there's a funny story behind the tooth. ;)
Report cards came out today, except Maddie's teacher forgot to pass them out. :sad2: She has a new baby and is seriously sleep deprived. I feel bad for her, but it's freakin' annoying. :headache:
Sounds good... but reading "TRIFLE" made me laugh. CE knows why.... "Meat, peas, jam... what's not to like?" :rotfl2:
I was just joking, Mel! You don't have to do that!
So I took Evan to the dentist. It's a new dentist for him, as I haven't been really happy with out previous dentist for a long time and my brother referred us to this new one. She was fabulous! :yay: She looked at his weird tooth and asked me if I wanted her to put some "juice" on it and "wiggle" it. I said sure, thinking she was just going to try to loosen it. Well, apparently I didn't read the paper work as I filled out the freakin' new patient booklet and they have "code" words for procedures...
JUICE = shot
WIGGLE = extraction
Needless to say, Evan walked out with his tooth in a bag. :rotfl2: He did great though... not one little tear.
Anyway, I spent the evening filling 50 goodie flippin' bags for the classroom parties tomorrow. That was fun. :rolleyes:
I'm beat.... have a good night! :hippie:
I thought I quoted Lori..... Feel better, Lori! :hug:
Thanks T!
So, if all my shopping is done, then WTH do I keep buying stuff?
I do the same thing every year but I stuck to my guns this year and didn't buy over and bought what was on my list. I hope I can do the same for the new year and stick to my budget. :rotfl:
SHERRY Trifle :-
Mmmmmmmmmm...this looks good too! :thumbsup2
At this office I used to work at in VA this guy would make a rum cake for the holidays. He would soak this thing in rum and you could get drunk off of eating just one piece. It was really good though. LOL
I am lovin' having a kitten! She gets under things that need to be dusted and then pulls things out that have been missing. Too bad she has to get bigger and this won't happen all the time. LOL
Good for him! ;)
Get anything good?
Well, now we're getting stuff like Comedy Central, Nick, Disney XD, and so forth in the HD lineup - but so far as I can tell, most of the shows aren't broadcast in HD so I'm not sure of the point. :rotfl: Ah, well.
Jimmy only went becasue he was at Hershey Park when we were there and his friends went with him. He usually wants no part of Santa.
Leaving at 3:00 to meet Jim at home and then go to the report conference.
I'm sure Jimmy is doing great. :goodvibes
Not too much to do today. My packages are wrapped except two that are odd sizes and I need to find boxes for them. Other than that I just need to buy stocking stuff. I'm thinking gum, magazines, batteries whilst Mitch is thinking Starbucks GC and Swiss Army knives. If he had my name, I wouldn't care, but he has my BIL. :rotfl:
