Still up...still sick----hoping to go to work tomorrow...but I can't talk to anyone without having a coughing fit....and then I have to go to the bathroom....and it's really annoying... so I don't know. My mom has resorted to IMing me on FB since I can't talk. :sad2:

Jo---Can you post a pic of the Emu boots? I was looking at the Uggs too but they are so pricey.

No decorating this weekend and Daran flies to CA on Tues...so hopefully next weekend. I just couldn't do anything being sick. Daran was great tho---cook, clean, helped BA with Science project (which included putting his fishing waders on and measuring the strength of trash bags by pouring gallons of water in them!

BTW--Great Value brand from Walmart were the best! Beat Glad and Hefty!:thumbsup2

Aw, sweetie, I'm sorry you're still down with it. :hug: I hope you feel better soon!

***********************************************************
Why, oh why, does it have to be cloudy and bleh for the first alarm clock day in forever? Yuck.

I've got "drainage" throat this morning. I didn't think I was terribly stuffed up last night, but I can sure feel it this morning. Bleh. Bleh, bleh, bleh.

:rotfl2:

Sorry.

I don't have too much going on today. My tennis team drills are scheduled as usual at noon, but that's about it.

Still no word from most family members on gifting. We did talk to D's brother last night, and they had been with D's dad and stepmom for t-day (we tried and tried to get D's dad from Thursday on, but no answer at home or on his cell - and that shows you how close we are, that we didn't have ANY idea where they were going for the holiday... :rolleyes:) Anyway, BIL got their lists and claims that he'll take care of it (we always do "from all of us" to that set of parents, which does make life easier...) So, I guess that's good - I can cross FIL & s-MIL off without doing a thing! :rotfl2: For D's mom and stepdad, we always just donate to charity in their name - they say that they have more than enough stuff and the money to get anything they would put on a list, so they ask for donations in their honor. Works for me - another easy one (and nice at that)... :thumbsup2

Hope you all have a good start to the week! :grouphug:

Good to know!:thumbsup2

Here too CE, and it is going to get colder and rain as the day goes on:sad2:

You too:goodvibes
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Good morning all. Actually wasn't too bad getting everyone up and ready this morning. Jimmy was actually looking forward to going back to school. He missed his friends.

Actually not much on the agenda this week. I'm not going to know what to do with myself.

I have an ear doctor appointment on Thursday. We are going to Christmas in Hershey on Saturday, but that's it.:confused3

Hope everyone has a wonderful day:hug:

It's going to rain here soon, they say. In the meantime it's very grey and damp. Sigh.

Good morning all. Actually wasn't too bad getting everyone up and ready this morning. Jimmy was actually looking forward to going back to school. He missed his friends.

Once my kids got up, they were excited. They do love school and their friends, but I had to laugh (otherwise I'd scream) that Woody, who got up no later than 7:30 all weekend and usually more right around 7:00, whined and fussed when I came in this morning at 7:00 - and that was after a couple of nights of "normal" bedtime. Sigh. :lmao:

I have an ear doctor appointment on Thursday. We are going to Christmas in Hershey on Saturday, but that's it.:confused3

It might be nice to take it easy! I'm looking forward to my first "normal" week in about a month. I have the usual things, but nothing else, either. D's going to be gone from Wednesday to Friday, I think, but that's about it. And with a normal week, that's really no problem. :thumbsup2

Jo---Can you post a pic of the Emu boots? I was looking at the Uggs too but they are so pricey.
Here you go, these are the stinger ones which are full sheepskin but they also have Bronte which are identical but are wool and sheepskin so cheaper!

As you can see they're almost identical to Uggs :thumbsup2

Golf match was cancelled due to the rain so we went to the mall, OMG I think the whole of Kent was there it was heaving :faint: We didn't last long, grabbed a few bits and headed home :rotfl2:

Morning... :goodvibes

I agree, CE. It's cold and rainy here. It was hard to get up and out this morning. :headache:

Jo- My girls both want those type of boots in black. :thumbsup2 I think they'll get the ones from Payless since they have BOGO right now. (Do you need me to interpret that? ;))

TE- Take a nap and get well. Don't worry about work. I don't think anyone will want to be around you if you're coughing still.

Z- :yay: How exciting!

I went shopping for shirts for Baylie this morning. She doesn't have any long sleeves that fit her. :headache: I went to Kohls since I had $20 Kohls bucks from buying a new bedding set on BF (Black Friday, Mel). They had a TON of the Abbey Dawn collection (by Avril Lavigne) on clearance. The girls love the sassy look of her clothes, but it's always so expensive. :mad: But today it wasn't! I bought a black, hot pink, and white long sleeve shirt so she could wear them underneath short-sleeved shirts. We don't need long sleeves more than a month or two here. So, the short-sleeved shirts were really good for next year too. :thumbsup2

I spent $96 with tax, after my Kohls bucks on TWENTY shirts! :yay::yay::yay:

I love a deal. :lovestruc

The girls will be so excited when they get home. It's a lot of skulls with bows and zebra print. So cute!

Still up...still sick----
Not good. I hope you're better soon. :hug:

I've got "drainage" throat this morning.
You too! :hug:

We are going to Christmas in Hershey on Saturday, but that's it.
That sounds fun. I bet it's pretty. :goodvibes

We had a nice, low key weekend although when I looked at my calendar, I realized my friend was coming today. I thought I had another week! :eek: She's very low maintenance so it will be fine. Tomorrow we go to MVMCP and her girls don't know, so they will be so surprised.

My sister was calling my Scrooge because I didn't want to decorate or anything. I did ask Mitch if he wanted a tree, and since he didn't care one way or the other, we're not. Finally I told my sister when her husband leaves for 15 months, she can talk to me about being Scroogie. ;) I do have a few decorations up.

And I did succumb to Cyber Monday. :rolleyes: There were a few thins I wanted anyway, and of course I got emails with free shipping & discounts, so I ordered. Thankfully I only need a few more things. :goodvibes

:hug: Have fun with you friend and so that's why Aero have been sending me more emails today :rotfl2:

Hello All!!

JANET has already been in the return lines at the stores.:rolleyes1

CE still doesn't know whether the family gift exchange is going to happen or not.

Z is working some OT for extra WDW $$$$.:woohoo:

JO showed us some Emus, boots not birds. She said the mall was 'heaving'.

DAWN found out that Jo does indeed know what BOGO is.

ANGELA was accused of Scroogedom.:rolleyes:

TE can't speak without coughing or farting.;)

I hope everyone else has had a good day!!!

This was short and well short.

Later!

Can you email Aero and ask about shipping to GF?
Just have :thumbsup2 They say they will send gifts to friends so hopefully they'll send to the GF!

DAWN - will Aero still have online deals on up until Christmas? It's just I don't want to order until a few days before we leave. Also Jess is a US size 6-8 what size would you order? Thanks :goodvibes

This was short and well short.
Thanks for the update but what's happening with you? :rotfl2:

Just have :thumbsup2 They say they will send gifts to friends so hopefully they'll send to the GF!

I truly don't see why they wouldn't - I'm sure they use the package service that people send their stuff through, so as long as you have the actual address, you'd be fine! :thumbsup2

Hi, all! I have read along today, but not done much quoting.

My children are driving me nuts. They are WIRED after school today. Sigh. :scared:

It might be nice to take it easy!

::yes::

Sorry about the golf being cancelled. Do they have good sales there for Christmas?

I love a deal. :lovestruc

Me too:yay:

We went last year. It was really nice. Jimmy likes the chocolate factory tour..they give out free samples;)

I ordered too. 2 games that I couldn't get for Jimmy in store. Chess (teaching game - has the cheats on the pieces telling you which way they can move) and Clue Jr.

JANET has already been in the return lines at the stores.

Haven't actually returned them yet:rolleyes1

Jimmy is ready for bed!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Watching the end of Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas and then heading up to bed. Jimmy is all excited becasue he has a loose tooth. What's the going rate for a tooth these days. I'm guessing the quarter I got when I was kid won't cut it.;)

He told me that one of the kids in his class got $5:eek: Are you kidding me. I'll be broke by the time he loses all his teeth:mad:

It is COLD and dreary here. Going to put the flannel jammies on and curl up with the....remote:lmao:

Hope everyone had a nice Monday and I'll see you all later:goodvibes

: All the decorating is done:woohoo: Inside and outside I love Christmas:love:

Saw the pics on FB it looks great :thumbsup2.
I'm excited too, it's beginning to look like a tradition to go to Disney for Christmastime. :santa:

Still up...still sick----

Aww TE :hug: I hope you start getting better soon. Have you gone to your Dr or the hospital? You've been sick for awhile now.

I've got "drainage" throat this morning. I didn't think I was terribly stuffed up last night, but I can sure feel it this morning. Bleh. Bleh, bleh, bleh.

Oh now...lots of Vitamin C!

Z- :yay: How exciting!

Thanks! I've made some changes....:rolleyes:

And I did succumb to Cyber Monday.

I looked, Amazon had some deals, but there weren't that many....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well I've made changes already.
We've decided to not stay at Wilderness Lodge. As much as it breaks my heart, we found a cheaper bigger place offsite that we've stayed at before.
Basically it's like a house. So since my brother and his girlfriend are joining that way they can have their own room.
Someday I'll stay at WL, just not this time.
Jo we won't be doing MK on Sunday after all. We'll be leaving Sun morning, but Yani and I might go up the Friday and we may do MVMCP on Fri. Then Sat it's family time and we'll park hop Epcot, MGM and maybe MK.
Plans are still being smoothed out, so who knows. :rolleyes1
Hope everyone has a good night!
Off to watch Monday Night Football. :D
He told me that one of the kids in his class got $5:eek: Are you kidding me. I'll be broke by the time he loses all his teeth:mad:
The fairy brings a dollar to my house, but she also always leaves pixie dust (in the form of star shaped confetti...)
Sounds like it makes sense, but a :hug: just the same.
********************************************************
Ha, ha! :rotfl: Finally got the list for the family drawing. I've shot off e-mails to our giftees and we'll see what I can get done.
I bought a shirt for my dad today... That's two gifts done! :rotfl: Oh, wait, I forgot about my cousin's one kid (the other's first b-day is tomorrow, so I have that gift, but not the Christmas one for her) so that's three! :rotfl2: Oh, and I did renew a sewing magazine subscription for Dr. Belle, so that's four! :banana: :rotfl: Sadly, only the kid is "done" as far as the gift giving. I need a little something more for my grammy, and at least one more substantial thing each for Dr. Belle and my dad.
But, hey, it's a start. ;)
D dropped the universal remote that we have, and the usb connector thing fell out inside the remote. So far, the functions still work, but if we ever needed to change or update anything, nope. So, we're combing eBay and so forth for a replacement. Sigh. (But, I'm REALLY glad it wasn't me who dropped it... :rolleyes:)
He actually did decide to email the company first. We bought it refurbished, but from Logitech, so it may still have some warranty - we'll see.
I need to go to Sears tomorrow for a new vacuum filter (we have a bagless canister deal, but the filter's just nasty) and I'll need to do some grocery shopping. So, there you go. D informs me that his trip is really tomorrow to Thursday, rather than Wed. to Friday, which is fine.
But I don't think I'll be any kind of in a hurry in the morning, so I'll catch you in the a.m.!
I would assume so. I think Baylie and Jess are inthe same size. But, email me her height and weight to make sure. I tend to get Baylie larges or even x-large so she can have room. So many things are fitted so tightly, I buy a size up on shirts and the right size for pants. There should be a fitting chart on-line, right? :confused3
Did they love them?
Yes. They were very happy girls! :cutie:
We do $1 too. I also do a spin on pixie dust. I do the body glitter. I rub some on the $ and some on their nose or cheek and say that the tooth fairy must have kissed her/him. It's washable, so it doens't matter if it gets onthe sheets.
Morning All!
I am up a this crazy hour for no reason.
Starting my gym regiment today, hopefully I can keep it up 'til April. On our last family cruise my dad decided to book us on another one. :banana:
It happens to fall on my birthday too! :goodvibes
So now I have set a goal to lose weight by then, so I don't look so horrendous.
....why do fattening things have to be so good? :guilty:
Does anyone know anyone going on a Disney cruise soon-ish...before the year ends? Stupid me didn't buy a Disney cruise scrapbook thinking I could find a better deal online, but noooooooooo there's nothing out there. :sad:
If so lemme know please!
I'm sure I could go on the cruise threads, but I'd rather not ask a complete stranger.....IKWM
Sounds like it makes sense, but a :hug: just the same.
Thanks :hug: I figure if I'm going to stay on Disney property I would like staying more than 1 day so I can enjoy the resort. FDL= Fuzzy Disney Logic. ;)
TTYL! :goodvibes
My children are driving me nuts. They are WIRED after school today. Sigh. :scared:
:hug: My friend is here with her daughters 2 and 4. Not that they are bad, but she's not at disciplined as my sis! :rotfl:Although my sis is a bit anal. ;)
We went last year. It was really nice. Jimmy likes the chocolate factory tour..they give out free samples;)
Smart Jimmy. :thumbsup2
I ordered too. 2 games that I couldn't get for Jimmy in store. Chess (teaching game - has the cheats on the pieces telling you which way they can move) and Clue Jr.
I'd like to learn chess too. I did order that travel game set for Mitch I mentioned earlier and a book for Reid explaining where Uncle Mooch went. I won't be able to read it to him, but at least my sis and BIL can.
Makes sense. :thumbsup2
Clever. :thumbsup2
Go dad! :cool1:
Those can be challenging ages, regardless. ;)
************************************************************
Really tired. D was restless last night and even though he was just trying to read whilst I fell asleep, he was moving his legs a lot, tugging covers, etc., and I didn't fall asleep until after 1:00. Sigh.
I need to run errands today and yet I'm not at all motivated. I'm beginning to think that Sears and the vacuum filter can wait one more day, so that I'm only picking up a prescription at Target and doing the grocery store today. I have nothing going on tomorrow, so why not? They're not at all in the same area, so if I wait, I'm not driving all over today - Target and the grocery store aren't far apart. :thumbsup2
So, I'll be in and out. Have a good start to the day!
Ugh. My mom (whom I haven't been speaking to) invaded Facebook. :headache: She hasn't been bold enough to ask me or B to be her friend yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if she did ask B eventually. :mad: That will cause even more problems since I have told her that she's not to see my kids right now. We have mutual friends, so she's popping up now with her comments on their stuff. I went in and change both of our settings to no search and only friends. Is there anything else I should do to keep her from seeing our stuff? :confused3
