Hey :rotfl2:

The boys were thrilled, we got a chance to sit and have a natter (is that correct usage, Jo?) and that was really nice. :goodvibes
Perfect :goodvibes

It's going to be crazy around here this week! Monday and Tuesday I've got dr. appts, Tuesday we have Brownies, then on Thursday we're heading to Mickey's Halloween Treat at DCA and staying at the new Villas at the Grand Californian. I'm E-X-C-I-T-E-D!!! :banana: On Friday we'll go to DLR, as it's Maddie's birthday. Then on Saturday we have the kids school Harvest Festival and then Maddie's birthday party is that afternoon. :faint:
Wow, have fun!!!!

It's a busy week here too. Tomorrow I will do the luandry (that's all I ever seem to so:sad2:) I have to call the ear doctor to get an appointment now that that the MRi is done! Then I have to call the Children's Hospital to get Jimmy an appointment to be evaluated by the Occupational Therapist (I'm told there is a 6 month waiting list:eek:), then I have to call the plaumber becasue my garbage disposal decided to stop working today:headache:
Good luck with both appointments :hug:

Here are the pictures of the pumpkin carving and painting...
Very cute!

JO wants a new family.
I'll adopt you and the DH and the kids, oh and the cat. It sounds like the PITA meet went well though.

Mummy go to bed :rotfl2:

Dam cat, yep I said it :rotfl2: She did a poo next to her litter box over night as she'd already done a wee in her litter box and of course can't do anything in a dirty one :sad2: Looks like I'll need to buy another litter box for my fuss pot cat :rotfl2:

It's a gorgeous day here, oh BTW our hour has changed so it's only 8.20am here so for a little while there's only a 4 hour difference :thumbsup2

Have (Look away T) ribs in the crockpot cooking for dinner tonight. Just need to decide on some sides. Corn on the cob, but what else? Any ideas?

No quotes, but I'm caught up! A couple things...

Jo -do you have family from Bath, by chance? From the sounds of it, we must be related. :hug: I'm glad you got some visiting in, though. Don't let them get to you!

Mo - I need to PM you; things have changed for Nov. I'm still going, but I'm... off-site! :faint:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Morning all and happy (?) Monday! I've started the day with a headache, so that's always nice. :rolleyes: I'm just trying to get through this week by keeping my eye on the prize: Halloween at WDW. :banana:
Nothing else going on. TTYL! :grouphug:
Nope do you? I hope your headache goes and when do you leave for WDW?
Well we traipsed all the way round the mall and didn't find a suitable coat, we then stopped at the supermarket and there was one there she liked :sad2::rotfl2: David isn't feeling well and has gone to bed :confused3
And you deserve it V:woohoo::woohoo:
Shoot, I do, don't I?! I think the toilet flapper incident was my final straw. :rolleyes:
Nope do you?
Yep. If I recall, the Spawn side of my family dates pretty far back in Bath before emigrating to the US. The Bedeaux's somehow wound up there from France, too, before crossing the pond.
I hope your headache goes and when do you leave for WDW?
Thanks! And good question - Friday-ish is as far as I've gotten, lol! I need to wait for rush hour to simmer down... or leave at an insane hour to miss it.
David isn't feeling well and has gone to bed :confused3
Uh-oh - hope he feels better!
So, one of the things hat I haven't mentioned yet is that Jimmy's therapist is looking into the possibility of Jimmy have Sensory Intergration Disorder. Hence, why he covers his ears when things are loud, having to touch things, etc. The best way to describe it is like this...Picture we are all in restaurant and having a conversation. WE are able to block out most if not all the background noise (other conversations, silverware dropping, etc)..Jimmy's brain may not allow him to do that. Anyway, it is something that can be overcome with Occupational Therapy. To get an OT appointment through CHildren's Hospital of Philadelphia, he would have to see a developmental pediatrician first. THe waiting list--9 months long:rotfl2:
I called my pediatrician, she recommended St. Christophers Hospital for Children, don't need to see the developmental pediatrician first. Got an OT appointment for November 11th...much better than 9 months ::yes::
I have to say that Jimmy is having a fabulous school year, so I am a little leery about messing with the apple cart if you know what I mean. Luckily we are all off on the 11th so I don't have to worry about him missing school.
Well I had a lovely afternoon with my PITA sister and her boys, Ollie was so funny as he was scared stiff of Boo but about an hour before they left was sat on the sofa with Boo asleep on his lap, so cute
Awww, wish you had a picture!
I can't wait for that trip, Rome, Florence and Venice with side visits to Pompei, Pisa and Bologna.
Wow, what a trip!:thumbsup2 Hope you get the new client!:woohoo:
QUOTE=jcc0621;34077046]Here are the pictures of the pumpkin carving and painting...[/QUOTE]
Great pumpkins:thumbsup2 I'm putting out our light up plastic pumpkin on Halloween :rotfl::rotfl: (can you tell I have no kids at home :laughing:)
So, does anyone watch the Extreme Makeover Home show? I don't normally, but the one that was on tonight was about 15 miles from my parents' house (and in central IL, that's practically next door) and it happened to happen the week I was there with my parents after BIL's wedding. Several people I know worked on it, but I didn't see them on TV. ;)
Yes, I watch it all the time. What a shame about the dog!:sad2: And, the taxes! I know a lot of times they mention on the show that they pay off the mortgage or give them money. I guess they didn't in this case?? Shame. The house was lovely though.
I know, they did a house about 3 miles from here. It was a family who took in their best friends kids after the parents died. After the show, the parents kicked the kids out and now the kids are sueing the show, as they claim they were promised a home for life. And the kids say that without them they would have never been chosen. Not always a happy ending, eh? :rolleyes:
I do remember that one! That's a real shame - poor kids!
Dam cat, yep I said it :rotfl2: She did a poo next to her litter box over night as she'd already done a wee in her litter box and of course can't do anything in a dirty one :sad2: Looks like I'll need to buy another litter box for my fuss pot cat :rotfl2:
:rotfl2::rotfl2: My Lilly is... four years old (OMG it's her birthday TODAY and I totally forgot until just now! Bad dog mom, bad dog mom!), and I was cleaning up tinkle this morning right NEXT to the pad - Grrrrrr (but we love her anyway :cloud9:)
Morning all and happy (?) Monday! I've started the day with a headache, so that's always nice. :rolleyes: I'm just trying to get through this week by keeping my eye on the prize: Halloween at WDW. :banana:
It'll be here before you know it :thumbsup2:thumbsup2
Good! The wait to see specialists is ridiculous!! We've been through it twice this year with Ariel this for her herniated discs - two months to see the Neurosurgeon (well, it's a lot better than 9 months but she was in severe pain) and then another two months to schedule the injections! As a mom, I was furious that my baby had to go so long without treatment and in pain and you feel so helpless! ::yes::
If they do diagnose it as SID, what is the treatment? Poor little guy, that must be so frustrating for him!:hug:
I have to say that Jimmy is having a fabulous school year,
That's good news!
