I admit that it annoyed me. He sent me a PM and everything to let me know that he had edited it and I responded to say something along the lines of "Yeah, whatever, I'm sure that they all could have understood my meaning despite the typo" . I get that he is the mod on the boards but I don't really think mods should be editing small little spelling mistakes like that, they should just be there in case something nasty gets posted or a thread needs to get moved, etc. Not for nitpicking small things like that.

In my mind there's a big difference between "moderator" and "editor" but maybe not there so much.

I have been having a horrible time getting on - I get a flash ad thing or something that boots me back home every time I click on a thread. I have to hit "stop" at just the right time, or...

So, I just don't go much. Lessa - I actually CRIED at the end of Bones, when we finally watched it.

Exactly, I think that some are letting their mod/admin status go to their heads.

So, I just don't go much. Lessa - I actually CRIED at the end of Bones, when we finally watched it.

I didn't like how they resolved the Gormagon storyline, it didn't fit how they had been building it up earlier in the season with the whole Widow's Son thing, etc. It felt rushed and like they were manipulating the storyline to resolve it before the end of the season and to get rid of a character because the actor wanted out. That being said, I always liked Zach as a character, he had a childish lovability about him and this just ruined his character, it was very sad.

Am I bad for thinking that ordering in pizza sounds good, even though we ate out yesterday at the cinema pub AND had lunch out today?

The kids are playing t-ball in the yard with our neighbor, D is doing something with yardwork, and I feel that I have done enough for the day. Why cook?

Me again I just had to tell you we're sitting here watching the Eurovision Song Contest, anyone heard of it? It's a big show over here where all the Eupopean Countries sing a song and then there is a huge vote to see who the winner is. We've won it several times years ago, Cliff Richard, Bucks Fizz etc won oh and Abba won it one year obviously not representing UK though These days though it's very political and we never do very well as all the baltic countries vote for each other, Scandanavian for each other etc and no-one loves us Ypu should see some of the acts though

OMG Jo I had forgotten about the Eurovision Song Contest! I was a huge fan of Cliff Richards and loved "Summer Ho;iday"! His real name was Harry but can't remember last name !!

We are thinking about doing a garage sale in the next few weeks and have a bunch of DVD's and video games to sell. What prices do you think I should put them down for? I don't want to overprice....

We price our DVD'a anywhere from $1 to $3 dollars depending on what they are...KWIM.

Well Lessa, I priced mine as follows:
DVDs 4$
CDs 3$
Playstation 1 2$
Playstation 2 3$
and
Xbox 7$

I did negotiate a bit on the Xbox as he bought ALL of them at once. And the kids said my Ps2 price was too low but I was only left with a few PS1 games and out of 30 movies I have about 8.

No one questioned my DVD prices at all.

I sold around 22 cassette tapes but they were priced at 25 cents each....

Mel, would SPeed Racer be too much for a 4 year old? Some of the scenes on the commerical with Trixie look to be a bit much but Jimmy is dying to see it

Janet, He would be completely enthralled! I would say that there are 3 "s" words but only one of them he'd catch. And one middle finger but it's VERY fast.

The rest is completely acceptable for kids. There are one or two "wordy" parts where he'd be waiting for the action (only 5 mins or so each) but there is SOOOO much going on in the background that he'd probably be distracted by that.

He'll love it. He may not get the "deeper meaning" of the story (family, pride, etc.) but I am certain he'd LOVE IT!!

Oh, and there is only one "almost" kiss and it's done in a funny way...no actual kisses I don't think.

Thanks. It looked like on the commercials that they were really trying to vamp up Trixie and I didn't want to have to explain that
