hello fellow fockers!

This is my first time to the new thread so I don't know if anyone will remember me....:confused3

I am an official Focker Watcher.....I promise!!! :goodvibes

hello there!! i'm new here, just 2 months!! i'm rachel, married with 3 kids, work as an er nurse!

I went for a pedi with my bestest bud meeska last week.

The pedicure technician (Is that what they're called???) saw my tattoo that meeska and I got after our last trip. The pineapple with the mickey head.

100_1356.jpg

She kept looking at my tattoo...then she tried scrubbing something off of my foot...it was my hidden mickey head hidden in my pineapple.

I have another interview tomorrow. wish me luck! To celebrate my moving I went and bought some new clothes today!

We also hit the Disney Store. They have their t-shirts on sale. I got one as did JOn.

luv that tatoo!!

~~~~~~~~~~~SHOPPING
TE: braces are fine, but really gross. My teeth never feel clean, even with the water pick and electric toothbrush. :confused3
Hmm.......she's never complained about that.......must come with being 11! ;) The dentist did say it would be a good idea to clean every 3 months. And she does like her Tooth Tunes toothbrush a lot.......but that could be just for the Hannah Montana! :rolleyes:
Hmmmmm...a teenager or a puppy??? I think I'll take the puppy. At least they can't back talk me.
Good point.........this week: moody teen breaking up with BF vs. Puppy that pees and chews on everything! :confused:
(I gotta get my rear back on WW--it's the only thing that works for me)
Hi Rachel! Working tonite???
Kat: How do you make your ribs? I'm making a turkey loin on the grill. Corn on the cob and brown rice. Maybe some pear cobbler for dessert. I'm starving right now though, so I'm off to make a fat free turkey sandwich on WW bread.
MEL:banana:
I make mine in the good old crock pot! They literally fall off the bone! The recipe is real easy too, I'd be glad to post it.
Thanks Kat! And the cupcakes and cheesecake are from a box. :laughing: I did take pics though and will post them. I prettied them up at least.
Hey some of my recipes are doctored up boxed stuff...no one would k now but it's true!
Honey...you're gorgeous on the inside and the out. There is no reason you shouldn't be out there if you don't want to. Let's see...I have some family in Florida...hmmmmm...do you speak the spanish??? ;)
"the spanish" :lmao: that made me laugh.
Well, Kinzee Faith has something called fibrocartilagenous emboli...which is a nerve pain disorder, brought on by immunological suppression. So, her nerves basically send intense feelings of pain over her body.
They are treating her with anti-inflamatories...and hopefully, this will clear up. Otherwise, we have to get a doggy CT scan...can't wait to see how much that will cost!
Does this mean you won't be calling sexy dr. quack?
What are you guys doing?
MEL:banana:
Def going to walk down to the water by the Verrazano Bridge (goes in and out of Staten Island). It's pretty down there and its at least something do to! We will probably get some cold stone creamery too (its a 4th of July tradition for me & KC) and look at all the houses down by the water that we can't afford (very high end area).
I hope everyone has a great 4th!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Rachel! Working tonite???
yup, i'm here at work. i'm in triage and people keep coming to the window, wanting seen. don't these people know i'm trying to catch up on my dis and my fockers?!!! (joke people) :rotfl2:
oh and i just posted about ww, completely fell off the wagon.
When I have an interview in the morning?
Let me share what happened tonight with you.
I brought my little bitty 3 pound chihuahua here to Albuquerque with me. She was acting fine tonight...when all of a sudden...she started screaming. Like a baby. Yes, screaming. I couldn't touch her...I couldn't hold her. She kept screaming. and then...she stopped walking. She couldn't get up and walk, or jump down from the couch or the bed. And she is only a baby. Just a little thing.
So, at 9:30 tonight, Jon and I loaded up little Kinzee Faith to go to the emergency vet.
We get there...and I swear to you...it was a miraculous recovery. The vet said that chihuahuas feign injuries a lot...basically...she's a liar liar pants on fire. She was fine. They gave us motrin and sent us on our way.
Now...I'm housesitting for my mother's dogs right now while she and my step-dad are away.
I get home from the vet at 10:45 or so.
I cart Jon off to bed...along with dear little faker Kinzee Faith.
I walk into the kitchen...and notice...an empty bag of torn apart chocolate chip cookies on the floor.
And I knew what had happened. My mother's dog ate a whole bag of chips ahoy.
So, I call my brother, and have him come sit with Jon so that Jon can at least get a few winks of sleep tonight.
And I am once again...off to the emergency vet.
I walk in and the ladies in the front begin to laugh...not only because I am back..but because my mother's dog has done this several times before.
So, they immediately take cookie monster Cori to the back and make her "rid herself" of the cookies.
I wait for her in the room...
As soon as the vet walks into the exam room...he looks straight at me...his jaw drops open...and he begins to laugh.
I said, "Yes, it's me again. The one who has a chihuahua who fakes injuries and a 3 legged dog (my mom's dog only has 3 legs) who can open cookie packages."
Long story short, both Kinzee (the faker) and Cori (the cookie hound) are going to live...$300 later.
As I was leaving...and this is the best part...the vet slips me his card with his number on it. Apparently, he finds me hilarious and cute. So, there was an upside to the night. :lmao:
Now...good-night. I'm off to sleep some before my interview tomorrow. And to dream about dear Dr. Dugger.
okay i know i;m a day late, but i'm cathcin up . so , glad dogs are okay, good luck with interview, yada, yada, yada.... now to the important stuff, are you going to call vet ? is he cute??
Dinner was good. I was just entering my #'s into the WW software for the day and I almost had a heart attack. My pitiful little 1.5 Belgian Waffles this morning were 16 points!!!!! HOW can THAT be? That's insane. No more waffles for this girl. Dang. :rolleyes1
:headache: 16 points?!?!
Hey Mel - have you ever tried the Orange Cream Cheese Cookie Cups? They're only 1 point!:thumbsup2 My friend made them a couple of weeks ago and I loved them! I'm going to try and make them this weekend...
She's off and on with him---they seem to argue all the time--I told her that shouldn't come till after years of marriage! Her girl BFF has been at the beach this week and her BF is annoying her so she's had a bad week.
I'm the only one awake still.........DH had to go to the ER last nite--his mom called as his dad was swelling a lot (had surgery on shoulder on Monday). He's ok, but needed IV diuretics to control it. He got home after 4 am I think.
Pup slept till 6:45!!! (only up at 2 am)--that's the best I've had so far! He's been a nut this morning--luckily Max loves to play with him or he'd wear me out!
He LOVED going to cheer practice and PetSmart last nite---got lots of TLC.:goodvibes
Come back, Rach!!! I didn't count while I was gone either. We'll just pretend you were on Vacay with me! :confused3
LL, going to that site right away! I hadn't heard about them. I have to say, the only time I really mind doing the WW points thing is when everyone is having something I can't. I already don't eat ice cream (lactose intlolerance) so that's fine. It's when they're having FRENCH FRIES or bacon or whatever. But, I am really determined to stay on this plan! I want to lose weight before I turn 40. ;)
TE: I'll take the puppy over the teenage girl any day. :thumbsup2
-----------------------
Last night, my ds15 went to his friend's house for the night. Normally I say NO to two sleepovers in a row, but he did all the mowing here on Wednesday and he HAS been away from home for a while so he's missing his buds.
Well, he calls home at 3:05 this morning, to tell me that his arm is numb and he thinks he's having a heart attack. WHAT???!!! :confused:
Ok, I'm surely mother of the year. I said, " ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You woke me up out of a sound sleep to tell me that?" You are NOT having a heart attack!
He used to have panic attacks when he was about 8. Hasn't had one since but now that I'm awake, this is sounding like he maybe slept on his arm, woke up with it numb and had a panic attack. I feel awful for being so mean but I was not awake. :guilty: Someone tell me I wasn't a bad mom.
Please.
