Hi everyone!!!
Welcome to our first every dining trip report! We spent a lot of time lurking on dining reviews before our trip and got tons of great ideas so thought wed return the favour and let you guys and gals know what we found!
Sooo
Weve just got back from an amazing 21 day trip to Walt Disney World where we spent every day and night languishing in the wonderful dining (and drinking) options the World has to offer. Weve gained several million pounds, my work trousers are now extremely tight, our bank balance looks as though its been nuked, the livers are pretty angry with us but, who cares, we had fun!
Ok, so a quick introduction to us:
Me- Spincandy (Rach)- 21 for the first time in WDW and excited about it. Im the Vacation Planner Extraordinaire due to my slightly detail-obsessive nature and the fact that it gives me something to live for! Im a University student/ receptionist, very silly and a total expert at spending billions-we-dont-have on vacations. Food-wise I like trying new things, am a big fan of chicken (yes, how boring) and cheesecake. I have Menieres Disease- the only foodie implication being that Im caffeine intolerant. I hate (hatehatehate) peas. And love (lovelovelove) cocktails (and other alcoholic beverages).
Then theres the DBF- Matt. Hes 23 and just graduated from Uni. This trip was partly a celebration for him. He manages to treat me like a Princess
, even through my WDW obsession and my we-must-take-pictures-of-every-meal directive. Hes a red meat man, not so keen on fish, but still tries lots of things. He has a huge appetite. Were lucky if we (ever) manage to fill him up.
Here we are, for your viewing pleasure.. lol
We stayed offsite (I know, I know, how dare we!?) so no DDP for us but we still managed to gorge ourselves sufficiently. I didnt notice until I started re-looking at our pics but we were a little bit table service snobs. Theres not much counter service in there but, hey, table service is what student loans are for, right?
So I thought Id give you an idea of whats coming and Ill update them with links as I go. Theres one or two tidgy off-site restaurants in there, but theyre in parks so I figure a lot of you guys might be visiting them anyway.
