Teacher's discount at Swan/Discount - will Canadian university count?

I currently lecture at a Canadian university. On the Swan-Dolphin reservation site it says that the teacher's discount also applies to people who work or administer at a university.

Does anyone know if this applies to people from Canada as well? Would a letter confirming my position at the university suffice as proof of being a teacher?

Though you may have to translate it from Canadian to American . . . .

Yes as long as you are on the school payroll of being a teacher or helper.
