Fun thread.
This whole thing about pulling children out of school to go to an amusement park is, well, amusing.
How I wish I could travel back to the days of my youth (early 60's) and walk up to my parents sitting at the dinner table (talking and paying bill). I would pipe up: "We need quality family time together. Take my sisters and I out of school and to an amusement park for a week".
I imagine that my mother would literally start screaming that her son has gone mad, while my father would slowly but significantly start pulling off his belt in a threatening manner (hence causing my I.Q. to drop yet another few points, according to another thread today).
