Teacher stamps/stickers? Or other ideas for 1st yr teacher?

I am a teacher and I buy a lot of classroom stuff at Dollar Tree. They have stickers, tracing letters, signs for the classroom, behavior reward packs, nametags, charts, birthday stickers, and many other things. You could make up a cute gift bag and spend $5. I would assume all dollar stores have a "teacher section" if you don't have a Dollar Tree nearby.

I think that while the classroom supplies idea (stickers, post its, stamps) are okay, you should really get something for the teacher herself. Those items are really for the kids, not her. A dunkin donuts or starbucks gift card or even some homemade baked goods, some hand cream, etc. The gift should be for her, not the class. IMHO. If you want to give a classroom game, etc for the class that is awesome, but I wouldn't consider it the teacher's gift.

If you read the first post, they already planned to give the teachers target gift cards. They were looking for suggestions on additional things to give the teachers along with the gift cards.

One of the gifts I got my first year teaching and I still use it today is a nice box of ABC large stencils. I use them for tons of stuff still - 15 years later.
