Does anyone know what day/time is tea with Wendy Darling? Is it a hit with both girls and boys? What ages? Thanks!

Renee

I would love to know about tea with Wendy too. Is it done on the Wonder and the Magic? Where does it take place, and is it just for kids, or parents too?

We have not attended, so I could be off base here, but from what we have heard, both boys and girls can attend. I've heard that some boys are chosen for the role of Wendy's brothers. Iced tea and chocolate chip cookies are served, and Wendy teaches the kids how to drink their tea correctly. It is on the Magic only, and it must start a little bit after the adult high tea because Wendy stopped by Palo on her way down to have tea with the kids (we got a cute photo with her).

On the Western Itinerary you pick up your free passes on Monday (sea day) at 9:30 am in front of Studio Sea, Deck 4. Get there early because a line forms at least 20 minutes ahead of time. There are two sessions of Tea with Wendy to choose from.

You can pick one session either that day or on Thursday, the other sea day. First come, first serve and the passes do run out. I believe the actual Tea is at about 2:00 pm in Studio Sea (Wendy will pick either two little boys or two little girls (preferably boys because they are supposed represent her two younger brothers). Photos are allowed and the whole tea lasts about 20 minutes or so...not very long.

Not sure the schedule on the Eastern Itinerary. I got this info from personal experience and from just checking my Navigator from the 1/4 cruise. Oh...parents are welcome so the number of passes handed out depends on how many family members attend. As I said, passes go quickly so if the whole family is not really sure they want to attend, don't take a pass for everyone because it will leave some people who really want to attend with none.

On the three night Wonder it was for the 3-4 year old group, at 7:30 p.m. on the second night.

I am soooo glad they do the tea thing on the 3 day. I thought that they didn't.

My 5 y/o DD will be thrilled. Any idea when it was served to the 5 year olds? Do you know how you go about getting passes?

Thanks,

It was part of the regular programming in the Oceaneer Club. It is listed in the Navigator, but from looking at the Navigator on the castaway club site I see it isn't on that one... So I don't know if they offer it just some of the time or all the time. We were on the 1/23 Wonder....

On the 1/11 Eastern

Passes were picked up on Sunday 10am.
The two tea times were Sunday and Monday at I Believe 3PM.
The Line for the passes seemed long but once they gave them out it moved fast. The tead was held at Studio Sea (as well as picking up the passes). When we went we witnessed them turning a party aside trying to get in without the passes.
And yes two young boys were selected to act as Wendys brother.
If you have young girls say (3 - 8) it is a must . I am not sure how all boys would react.

We were on the 4-day and Tea with Wendy was for the 3-4 age group one evening in the Oceaneers Club also. Sometimes they combine the 3-4 and 5-7 age groups so I cannot remember if the older kids were there also.

My 6 yr. old gd found it boring in 2001 and did not want to go last year. So as is everything on the cruise it's a different experience for everyone. She does however love the clubs.

Thank you all so much for the advice...I'll try to make it to the tea, especially since it's short enough to keep my kid's attention!

My 4 year old twins loved it. I believe it was on the third night on the 4 Day cruise in the oceaneers lab...
