OK, I finally booked my Royal Pacific Room...now how do I get my tickets to IOA/Universal? Do I just buy them from the Universal web site or is there a way to get them at the Hotel when I check in?

You can buy from the site, you could call to see if you can get them there at the front desk, or you could buy from a discount place like undercovertourist or Maple Leaf Tickets. We used Maple Leaf, got a great deal, had a great time!

Glad to see you picked an on-site hotel, OP! :thumbsup2

If you are a Costco member, Costco has three day tickets for 139.99. They are valid for a couple of years, I think - they don't expire in 7 or 14 days if you don't use them all.

It is cheaper to buy tickets online than at the gates - the Universal site advertises $10 per ticket savings for multi-day tickets.

Undercover Tourist has a 2-day park to park ticket for 140.95 including tax. The 3-day is just 141.95 and the 4-day is 142.95.

The Costco near me doesn't have these tickets. I'd love to be able to get them. Looks like I'll go through the website.

the costco tickets, on another thread I saw where it said you can use them all at once. So does it mean you are getting 3 separate tickets?? Just trying to figure this out. We are going in Aug and I have 5 in my family.

never mind, I got my answer

Just compared the Costco ticket price to buying them online through Universal. It's only a $5 difference for a 3 day ticket - and a four day ticket is just a few dollars more. Not much of a deal......

I haven't bought the Costco tickets this time around, but I'm pretty sure they are three-day park-to-park tickets, not three one-day tickets. Each 3-day ticket can only be used by one person.

One of the benefits of the Costco ticket is that it doesn't expire for awhile if you don't use all three days (I think it expires in August 2013, but I might be remembering that wrong). If you plan to visit for one or two days, you can save the extra day(s) for another trip. But it's not a bad price even if you plan to use all three days during one trip.

The Costco tickets are 3-day, park to park tickets that expire in December 2013. Many Costco's do not have them, but the one in North Wales (Montgomeryville) outside Philly does.

The difference is that you can use each day individually over the next few years since they aren't consecutive, they don't expire (until 2013). They also are both parks.
