Hi, could those who have travelled with TCD tell me if the planes have seat back TV's.

I have a friend who has travelled twice with TCD (economy) but only had the seat back TV's on one leg of one of the journeys travelling from Manchester to Sanford.

I thought that the majority of TCD planes had these.

If they don't all have them how easy is it to see the overhead screens?

Thanks

We've travelled with them twice, the most recent being last year from Manchester and they didn't have seat back tv's then, and to be honest it wasn't easy to see the overhead screens! I suppose it depends where your seated.
Hope this helps, but I'm sure someone who's travelled with them more recently may be able to update us more.

We're booked to go in October and have been told that there isn't any screens on the seat backs.

Does anyone know if you are allowed to use PSP's or similar on the plane? If so then the kids will at least be able to play games and watch movies on that.

I know that my friend took a personal DVD player with them last time because of not having the seat back TV's so I assume that you can use PSP's etc.

DD has used her DS and our portable DVD player on flights after take off :thumbsup2

Last August had films loaded on psp, games for psps, music on ipods, ds's at the ready, special head phones for the in flight entertainment. Got to airport no carry on, had to pack it all away in our suitcases.

I hope that was just bad luck on your part. We have a 3 year old to entertain for 9 hours ! Unfortunately Cbeebies isn't likely to be the in flight entertainment !

BIL and family went from Gatwick a month ago and did not have seat back TV's. Poor young lads couldn't see a thing on the over-head ones as they were too small. Sorry, don't know if they used any PSP's etc.

you can use your psps on flight as long as you turn of the internet connection for the duration of the flight as they can interfere with flight.
