LOVE the MLB banquet pics!! Oh my gosh, my DH would be beside himself at something like that! And Halladay, OMG!!! (We are huge Phils fans here) Too cool. Though, DH hates the Yankees and the Mets, so . . .

Taylor looked so super excited, her smile is awesome!!! She has a real twinkle in her eye. Sorry the girls and you had such a rough morning. Part of me is thankful that Em doesn't understand enough to know when she has to have a treatment or procedure that she would be afraid of for that very reason. I can understand you venting! Mickey would make me feel better too!

LOL My husband was like a kid in a candy shop..... he is a Yankee fan but he was even excited to see Halladay!!!

She was thrilled to be there....

Hi, just reading up on your PTR. Your girls are beautiful. Hope everyone is feeling better after yesterday, incluidng mom. I love the new pictures you posted. Taylor looks so happy in all of the pictures. What an amazing girl. I can't wait to hear more about your trip.

Just checkin in quick.... I wanted to let everyone know that nobody in our house had any emotional breakdowns today....

Taylor woke up twice during the night feeling sick to her stomach but she never actually got sick. She woke up this morning very tired & with a headache. Her belly was still bothering her a little but I made her wait until we got to the hospital to get the Zofran through her port (for some reason it helps her more that way rather than her taking it orally). She did pretty well today during treatment. When we got home she was laying down on the couch with her blanket & pillow because her head was hurting again & she is EXHAUSTED!!!

Then my cell phone rings & guess who it was???? ADAM GRAVES!!! I didn't realize that he had kept my number. He remembered that Taylor was having chemo this week & wanted to see how she was doing When she got on the phone & heard his voice her whole face lit up & she was on . It really made her day.

Tonight she is very tired & cranky.... ... I am hoping that she doesn't spike a temp tonight.

On a different note... Sami was so good today going to school!!!!! NO crying & when I dropped her off she walked into school by herself!!! I am so proud of her.

We are only 46 days away from a vacation we need sooooo badly!!!!

Glad today was better for all. Keeping Taylor in my thoughts and prayers. When Kylee is in the hospital we always get a phone call from Michael Rosenbaum from Smallville. He always knows how to cheer her up. 45 more days for us!!!!!!Just like you...we need this badly. A break from all this stress.

I hope it was just her nerves and not a sickness coming on.

They always gave Juliana Zofran through her port on chemo days and gave us a script for oral for when we were home.

Taylor started complaining of a bad headache around 10 last night & she finally fell asleep around 11:30. By 2:15 she was up crying with a headache and her temp was 100.4. She was up & down until about 4:00 by then her temp was 101.3, I didn't call the doctor on call because we were going to be heading back in a few hours. She fell back asleep until I woke her at 8:00 to get here today. She is hooked up & getting her fluids now, then she will get her chemo. No temp as of right now, hopefully it stays that way. Her mouth sores are pretty bad again this time.

It is snowing here it took us an hour & a half to get to the hospital today, it usually takes about 50 min. I HATE driving in the snow

I hope today goes fast & that her temp stays down......

How bad is the snow? My family is up north in NY and I see on facebook that they are all complaining about it. I told them they should've moved down with me.

Sorry to hear Taylor had such a hard day of it. And yes you do have a right to be upset because your child is sick and we never want our children to be sick or hurt even when they are all grown up. You just stay opptimistic for her and that will make the other 6 treatments go alot faster remember she feeds off of you. Enjoy everthing she does and she won't remember all the bad things because she will be having fun live to the fullest hugs and prayers sent to you.
Just think disney isnt that far away and I promise it will be worth the look on her face twhen she sees the castle or her favorite character you will have that for ever.

Can anyone tell us what there is to do at US & IOA for the girls... They are not really into the big rides so I just wanted to see if I could get any feedback on those 2 parks as far as what to do with them? I know that my DH will be on the rides... LOL

I have to research these two parks, I have not gotten that far yet. We are planning on doing them both in one day since the girls will not really be going on alot of rides there.

I dont know to much about US & IOA, only went once for about 5 hours back in 2005 and I didn't care for it, we didn't even get through one of the parks, can't even remember which one it was....I think Tim, Mel and Ana were there so I'm sure he will chime in on what they did!
