We’re flying in to Orlando for #TheErasTour in April at Ray Jay in Tampa. One of the folks in our party is in college near there anyway.

So we’re renting a car. Have a reservation at Disney for 3 nights — the night we arrive, the night of the concert, and the night after the concert.

I got scared about traffic after the concert and also booked an Air BNB for that night in Tampa.

Trying to decide if I should cancel the Disney night — or keep it on the thinking that this will save us from having to deal with checking in when we want the next day.

Waste of money or DVC points? Worth it to hang on to both reservations? I hate feeling wasteful but for such a short trip, might not having the extra hassle be worth it?

I've driven from the Tampa area to Disney before - what traffic are you expecting after the concert? Of course you are going to get the concert traffic at the event location, but you're not going to avoid that by staying in Tampa unless it's within walking distance. What time does the concert end?

There is no way I would want to drive an hour & a half after the concert just to stay at Disney.

Are you planning on any park days? Personally I would cancel the Disney hotel and just stay at the Airbnb.

Are you hoping to do the night before and the night after? Check if you can before cancelling the 3 consecutive nights. Disney doesn’t always have a lot of availability for single night stays.
