Taylor madness! My official July disney trip report

So day one we get to the disneyland hotel:

Our rooms were nice but for me the construction took away. Still fun tho.

So you are all checked in to disneyland hotel done some rides where to eat.. hmmm???

Club 33!!!

This time sadly wasn't as good as my last. Found the waiter to be short and the vetners to be not as good as last year. It's okay tho because his back waiters were great and I sent back the food I didn't like and subbed other food. The crab cakes and lobster seviche was amazing. They also skimped on the wine but I wasn't trying to get drunk anyway. Being with my family was great!!!

So then hmm through our own methods we never waited more than 30 minutes in a line. We saw all the star tours combinations and did pretty much everything we wanted to do. We also did it multiple times to the point were I was like wow I've done this ride a lot!

POOL!!! Disneyland hotel pool to be exact

Finally the tiki lounge? Tiki bar? Loungie tiki I dunno that cool new bar at the disneyland hotel. Most awesomest bar ever but isn't really built for large parties. That's okay we made due. Psst. Threee of the drinks make the bar do stuff. Oh I'd check the prices on the drink cuz they can be expensive. Trader Sam's

Love you charles! Charles was the best waiter but gloria was a good second!

Lastly the little sister had them put welcome how on our steakhouse 55 menu! What a sweetie!

Sadly I found the food to be... sub par again. Watch the bottled water instead of tap water thing too. $54 dollar in water was a shock!

What was up with my disney fine dining.. I dunno. Maybe I shoulda just stuck to California adventures food places. SUPER YUM! The falt bread pizza, the sun dried tomato thingy, SOOO good. The CA adventure margaritas were awesome and I loved everything but the corndogs.

7 day trip!


Most impressive was star tours. Yes there are some combinations that are meh. The rest of them are pretty awesome!

Repeated ones were: Tower of terror, splash, toy story mania, astro blaster, winnie the pooh, star tours, space mountain, peter pan, toon town, pirates, grizzle rapids (or whatever it's called the wet tire boats) and some other kid ones I can't remeber.

The monstro story book boat was cool just do it at night cuz day is too hot.

Least impressive was little mermaid. To be honest I like peter pan more then little mermaid. What I didn't like about little mermaid it really didn't tell the story. Urusla? Really that was the big hoopla. She had like a 2 minute showing. Bad planning! It was nice how short the lines are but sometimes you feel like you are running to get on or off. Also when you have animation from the movie why have some lame computer graphic of ariel. I mean at least get some art in it.

Saw the Aladdin show hated it but the wife loved it. I hated it because it had NO abu and didn't tell the story right. I kinda know it by heart so I was like.. boo!


People were great! Crowds were managable! No cuts, bruises, face plants!

So in summary:

Park was GREAT!

Dining was not! Club 33 and steak house let me down in a big way!

Overall: Still my best disney vacation ever. Learned how to navigate the park! Learned how to navigate the big groups of people. Learned what I wanted and what I didn't want out of my disney day! Still the happiest place on earth! The chocolate place with the pretzles nuts chocolate heaven thingy... SOOOO good!

Looks like a wonderful time! Can't believe you didn't like Aladdin show? I've only seen it once and it was many years ago, I'm excited to see it in a few months for the first time with my kiddos.

I love the picture with everyone wearing their Tye dye shirts. REALLY cute, and great idea.
