taxis from port everglades to the airport?

going on a cruise leaving from port everglades - what's the best way to get back to the airport quickly?

For us, taxi was the quickest - they are on the right side as you exit the terminal area. We were planning to Uber but saw a huge crowd of people waiting so decided to taxi and it was quick and easy!

thanks for the info! should i reserve a taxi in advance or will there be enough ?

There were plenty just waiting when we were there, so I don't think it's necessary to reserve in advance!

It’s only 3 miles to the airport. I am sure they will come back around for repeat runs.

We pre-reserved an Uber and it was easy. Likely wouldn't have needed to, could have ordered coming off the ship.

We took a taxi from port everglades in January back to the airport. Very easy. There was a long line of them right when you exit the terminal.
