Can a family of 5 with a 2 yr old ride in a regular taxi? Will we need the larger van type of taxi?

Do most taxis have a carseat -- or will we need to call for a taxi with a carseat?

5 will fit in a Ford, mercury or town car sedan a little bit tight. You have to have a baby seat for a 2 year old.

I have to supply the car seat?? What would I do with it at the park?

Not sure where you are going but for us, a family of 4, it was cheaper to get a towncar to and from the airport to WDW resort, than to use a taxi.

You may want to check the towncar type of companies. I think some of them will supply a car seat for you, if you rent a van. Please verify this with company you are choosing.

You may want to look into this. Just a suggestion.

I want to be able to take a taxi from the park to the resort, ASMo. I have stayed at resorts before and while I have not had any problems with the buses, I have had problems trying to handle my kids, my stuff and my stroller. This time I will be travelling with a 2 yr old in addition to the self-sufficient 4 & 7 yr olds. This means I have to manage to get all my things into the bus and then hold onto the 2 yr old and the stroller, while making sure the 4 & 7 yr olds are behaving. If I have to stand --- this will just not work out. IF 2 yr old falls asleeep -- same thing, I'll be in trouble. So to make life a little easier, I'd rather take a taxi. I know many other families have handled the same situation, but for the $20 I'd rather try to avoid the aggravation.
