Taxis driving to your room location.

Hi everyone,
I've taken taxis on occasion at Disney. In the past I've been dropped off at the main building (ie El Centro at CSR) I'm planning a future trip with my mother who has some mobility issues. What I'm wondering is if taxis will drop you off closer to your room? Or does security only permit them to drop off at the hotel entrance? Thanks in advance.

I called Mears (which runs all the taxi services at WDW) to ask the same question about Saratoga, and they said they generally can pick up right at your building, or as close as they can get to it via road. I've seen taxis picking up at individual buildings at OKW as well. You should call Mears and ask whether they can pick up or drop off at individual buildings at CSR (or wherever you're staying), but I would expect the answer to be "yes."
