Taxi to Universal

Hi,

We are going to Universal for one day and wondered how much it would cost for a taxi there? There are 9 of us in our party. Do I just ask the front desk to call a cab for us? We would need a taxi van probably 2. Would I have to request that? What would be the approximate cost? How early in the morning can you call for a taxi? I am staying at POP. Where do we wait for a taxi? How many more questions do I have?......

The best thing to do is to set up your transfer to Universal with a car service that is discussed on the boards. You could get a taxi at the resort, but the legal ones there only hold up to 7 passengers, Mears Transportation. If you use one that someone calls for you it may turn out to be not a good deal. You might call Murray Hill or Tiffany for van service than everyone could go together.

I heard that there are taxi vans that you can get at the same rate as a taxi service. Am I wrong?
