Does anyone know how much a one way taxi ride is from Disney Pop Century to the original Universal? We can't decided whether to rent a car for two days or use a taxi. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I'm not sure, but you may get a quicker response if you post this type of question on the Transportation forum... :)

Don't know about taxis, but Mears runs shuttles from WDW to Universal for about $14 per person.

Rent the car.

Noobs to the USF/IOA world stay at Disney and only visit for a day. That's ok, you'll come over to the fun side. There's this unwritten thing that Disney people can't visit USF/IOA, but that's totally wrong, and you'll see it soon.

The shuttle situation is also another thing that needs to be addressed. Since USF/IOA and Disney don't get along, there is no shuttle between the two.

Most people who stay at USF/IOA buy the 5 park pass, which includes WnW, SWF, and BGT. You need a rental car to hop between these parks, and it's well worth it because you can visit a grocery store.

Just face it. Disney and IOA/USF hate each other. The members of this forum, and the park, stay seperate.

I post here often, but never venture to the Disney side of this forum. They stay seperate. I visit Disney every 4 years after they add a roller coaster.

I know that a taxi ride from the Swan to Universal is around $30 to $40 for a one way trip. Taxis will take up to five people at no additional charge.

A rental car would be nice just because you could stop at a grocery store, go out to dinner off property or stop at one of those cheapy soveneir stores. Just a thought

I was also wondering how much the transportation was?I will be needing transportation from Pop Century to the Doubletree at Universal entrance then from the Double Tree to the airport and have been trying to decide on weather I should take a taxi or have a town car so I can shedule in advance any ideas from anyone? and anyone know if theres a big price difference in the two money or comfort?
