Taxi or Rental Car to Sea World from Animal Kingdom Resort

We are staying at Animal Kingdom Resort in Aug and have Free tickets to Sea World. Is it cheaper to rent a car for the day or take a taxi to Sea World?

We will be there this same time. I was wondering about this too. I was also thinking about taking the bus to downtown, then getting a cab or city bus to Sea World.

To me, it would depend upon the number of people in your party. If you had to pay $18 per person for the Mears shuttle service, I would imagine if there are more than 3 of you it would be cheaper to rent a car for the day (even with the parking fee at UA).

We took a cab a few years ago and it cost about $80 RT including tip.

The county bus (Lynx) is not bad to Sea World; it's just 20 minutes from DTD or 35 from TTC. Fare is $2 each way per rider; exact amount required.
