Taxi from POR to Beach Club ?

We have a breakfast ADR at Cape May.
1. How long would it take to get to BC from POR by taxi ?
2 How do we go about getting a taxi at POR just go out front and ask for one ?
3. I have heard that we need to give a tip. Do you tip the taxi driver or the person who gets the cab for us ?
4. How much do we tip ?

All you need to do is go out front and tell them that you need a taxi. I think it is bell services that is outside, they have a little building. There are usually taxis waiting outside, so they will just whistle for one for you. The person that calls the taxi usually gets a tip of a dollar or two. The taxi driver a bit more, I usually tip at least $5.

I would budget around 45 minutes to get the taxi and get to the Beach Club.

Ok thank you. So do you think if we left an hour early in a taxi that would give us plenty of time to make and ADR at Cape May ? I know you said 45 minutes but I'm counting on being 15 minutes early

45 minutes will be plenty of time. There are usually taxis right outside the main entrance of the resort and the drive itself will only take about 10-15 minutes. If you allow an hour you'll have time to explore the BC..
