We will be staying at the Swan and want to spend one day at Sea World. We will not have a car, so we will take a taxi. Has anyone done this recently? Do you know approximately how much it costs? Will we have any trouble getting a taxi either at the Swan or at Sea World?

Thanks!!

At the Swan and the Dolphin they have town cars on the stands. They are considerably more expensive. Probably $10.00 more than a cab to Seaworld. I would carry the taxi number 407-422-2222 and when you need a taxi call and have one pick you up. Either that or have a doorman call Mears Transportation and give him this number to call. If he calls a number he has you will probably pay more because he is paid a commission for calling that company. If he calls Mears he gets no commission and you will get a metered cab which will run you about 24.00 from the Swan. At Sea World theat have a Mears taxi stand you can walk out to and pick up a cab back to WDW.

If you know for sure the date you want to go to Sea World, you can make a rental car reservation with National or Alamo for a car to be picked up at the Dolphin. They don't open until 8 a.m., and there can be a line to get the car - so get there a few minutes before 8.
