taxi from disney to internatonal drive

does anyone know what the cost of a taxi from Disney ticket and transportation center to international drive point Orlando end would cost?

i know you can get the linx bus to seaworld and then get the i ride which would be cheaper

allso if i book a disney hotel do you get any discount on tickets or other perks

are the extra magic hours any good (the Epcot late night looks good )

roughly $40 / $45 one way

no
you might get a small discount on accomodation if you buy ticket and hotel as part of a package, or a free dining deal, but booking a hotel will not get you direct discount on anything

are the extra magic hours any good (the Epcot late night looks good )

your mileage may vary
EMH mornings are good but you might need to go to another park in the afternoon to avoid crowds
EMH evenings are also good, but rather crowded

can I suggest getting the taxi from downtown Disney instead of the ticket center? it will cut a bit off your fare, unless you need to travel from there of course, just a thought

This is a good suggestion - also if you are staying onsite getting to the TTC is incredibly difficult. There are taxis at all the resorts, parks (except MK which are at the TTC) and DTD.

$40 would be about right from Rosen Pointe - we paid $45 from AKL to slightly past there.

There is a Bahama Breeze just off the 535 not far from the Crossroads. I would think a taxi from DTD to there would be cheaper

I wuld not pay the cost of a taxi to International Drive just to eat at Bahama Breeze. It's nice but there are nicer places that are a lot closer.

not to mention that, with a $90 price tag (return) plus the meal iteslf at Bahama Breeze, OP could eat at a signature restaurant in WDW instead ...

We got a taxi from Downtown Disney to Premium Outlet on International Drive last week and it was just over $40!

We found cabs to be really overpriced in Orlando. We got charged 25 dollars from Marriott village to boardwalk! Felt kinda ripped off considering its a 5min drive! Sadly the few non car nights out we had planned were scrapped *** of these prices. Felt our money was better spent elsewhere.
