Taxi from AKL to Seaworld

We don't get a car when we stay in Disney as we don't usually go off property and just stick to Disney transport.

However we are planning to spend a day at Seaworld on our next trip.

Roughly how much would a taxi cost and how long does it take by car?

Also I know conceirge will book us a taxi for going to Seaworld but will we be able to pick up a 'safe' taxi outside Seaworld for the return journey?

If I recall, the fare to Seaworld was about $35 or so. It's maybe 15 minutes, not long. There is a taxi stand at Seaworld, in fact they will drop you off at the taxi stand so you just need to return there (a very short walk to the main SW entrance) to pick up your return ride.

you can ride a bus - just take the mk bus - then take the monrail to TTC - then walk over to the bus depot.

Is it better to go to Ticket and Transportation or Downtown Disney to get the bus?

we used Mears shuttles last year fropm ALK to seaworld. It wasn't expensive. you call them from the front desk the day before you want to go to book and then for the return you call them an hour before you want collecting. We found them great, we used them a few times from AKL and found it cheaper than a taxi
