Taxi cost for Playa Mia Beach resort

There will be at least 3 adults and 4 kids, 5,7,9,11. We can get transfers for 13 dollars each which would be 91.00. Could we get a taxi on our own for cheaper?

That is at least a twenty minute ride, I think the transport price you have is decent.

Checked my photo of taxi price sign from Sept 2016 and for 6-8 people from Punta Langosta (Disney's Cozumel pier) to Playa Mia is $36 each way. Taxis are extremely easy to get in Cozumel and prices are listed on the board so absolutely no haggling either. The taxis are lined up waiting and are probably easier than any other pre-arranged transportation as well as being cheaper from what you've listed.
