Taxi/Cab ???

We are going to be flying to CA and will be taking a taxi to the hotel. Will we nned to bring our kids car seats for the taxi?? I have never been in a taxi so I'm not sure how it works

Which airport are you flying into? Taking a taxi might be too expensive, have you ever thought of a shuttle? Like SuperShuttle or PrimeTime?

There's also Disneyland Express Bus. All Taxi's and Vans services you need car seats. But you do not any car seats on Disneyland Express Bus. That's why I'm taking the Disneyland Express Bus so I don't have to drag my dd3 car seat with us.

It is possible I will get some unwanted comments from this but, no... you do NOT need a car seat for a taxi. Of course, it is the LAW that the children have one... it is also the obvious safer option, but they will allow the kids to ride without one. We took a taxi one morning to DL as our hotel shuttle bus did not operate that early. It was less than a mile to DL. I saw no difference in safety between that and standing up in the isle of our hotel shuttle bus (quite lawful, by the way) which we did when there were no seats available.

i have took many taxis and never been told i needed one. yes you can request one but taxi could take an extra hour to get to you if you have to have one.
