Ride share fares are approaching taxi fares. They went up about a month ago
Taxi vans are the same price as regular taxis. Last time I took Lyft from MCO I had to wait almost 30 minute.

Has anyone used taxis at MCO recently?

Did you have to wait? Or Did you walk up to a waiting taxi, on line

We pretty much exclusively use taxis when we travel to Disney from MCO. We only pre-booked services when the kids were young and we wanted to ensure car/booster seats.

Taxi service is awesome. Maybe we've been lucky, but there have never been more than 4-5 people/families in the taxi line and we've never waited more than 10(?) minutes for a taxi, and that's when we specifically requested a van.

Once at the resort, we'll use rideshares if we're trying to ropedrop. The Uber and Lyft drivers are generally pretty good, but we've had some bad drivers with those services - not many, but on more than one occasion, we were thankful to get to the park intact. The taxi drivers from MCO have always been consistently boring drivers (a good thing).

I’ve never had trouble getting a taxi within a few min. Cost is about $60 plus tip to boardwalk resort. Much preferable than waiting for bus, which doesn’t save much if any or uber.
