TN and MS had theirs at the end of July and AR the following weekend. Ours is only good on school supplies and clothing totaling $100 or under, and computers under $1500.

It's slightly out of date. Kansas just got a graduated rate that started this year and in 2025 will be 0% (that will remove the 6.5% of the state). It's been a long hard fight just to get a reduction. Before we had one of the highest around and def. for the Midwest. The reduction though is on groceries and has many exemptions from hot food (like Costco chicken for example) to already prepared food.
Well as previously posted Virginia forgot to renew for this year of tax free weekend lol.
It’s just been announced that the 3rd weekend in October will have tax free weekend for school supplies /Hurricane preparedness supplies.

VA also eliminated their grocery tax at the state level under Youngkin last year.
Now, localities may still charge 1% for groceries, so you may still have a grocery tax, but all state level tax (which varied between 1.5% and 5% based on the item) is gone.

Wow I had not ever realized that was done way back in 2016. However i do like they did start sending out tax refunds when ever they have a surplus in the budget. $500.00 comes in handy this year
