Tavelodge Suites Eastgate Orange???

Seems the TripAdvisor.com has good reveiws of this place. And I can get it thru AAA for less than $40 a night.

Anyone stayed there recently?

DH and I looking for a reasonable price place to lay our head a few nights before we go into disney. Maybe do some outlet mall shopping tour some of the WDW resorts an go to downtown disney. And maybe relax one day before going into disney.

We stayed there Jan-Feb 2007 for 12 nights. The motel is clean, comfortable beds. free Wi-fi, micro/fridge in each room and amazing water pressure in the shower. The staff, in particular Mike at the front desk, are amazing. There is always someone cleaning outside. The pool is not well heated in the winter, but it was really cold when we were there. We stayed here in the early nineties several times and were happy at that time also. We will definately stay there again. The breakfastis basically pre-packaged donuts and pastries with juice, coffee and tea. On the weekend they brought in fresh donuts. There is a large indoor flea market next door, Cracker Barrell directly across the street, Waffe House in the front parking lot and many other restaurants close by.Well worth $40.

Yes I was aware of the fact that the breakfast is packaged pastry type stuff

Not a problem we will have our own transportation and can get other healthier stuff for breakfast if we want. I can't say as the carb filled breakfasts that other hotels offers such as waffles and biscuits an gravy is any better for us. For the money I won't feel I missing anything by not eating the free breakfast.

We will be there the 1st of Sept so the pool should be warm shouldn't need much heating then.
