Tatoo coverage

Anyone know if you can cover a green tatoo w/a different, possibly lighter, color?

thanks, but what I meant was to cover it with a different tatoo, slightly larger, but different colors...would it show thru?

I've never had a tattoo covered up, but on shows I see where people are looking to get them covered with a larger piece, they always have to go darker.
