Day 5

Free continental breakfast at the hotel (yes we beat the Locusts so there was a full menu) before hitting the Mall at Millenia and Macy’s once again.

We had promised DD clothes and new trainers for xmas and this is definitely the place to get them. Baby Phat merchandise is very cheap here especially with the discount card as well and good exchange rate.

We were still on the look-out for some surprises for her as well but its getting difficult to find anything.

DH bought his xmas present from the Apple shop . (ipod - yes thats yet another gadget for his collection)

In the afternoon we went to the Hawaiian rumble crazy golf on the SR535 as they have an early bird special. The course wasn't upto the standards of Pirates Cove but made for an enjoyable break from all the shopping.

We decided to go for an evening meal at Perkins at the Crossroads but this was closed due to a failed inspection of some sort and was still closed the day after :confused3 .

Instead we went to Pizzeria Uno. Made the fatal mistake of ordering a starter to share between the three of us and a main meal each but the portions were huge  . The food was very nice and a new one for us.

It was then off to Walmart for a bit more shopping as we had done any for at least a couple of hours and also to stock up goodies for Christmas

Day 6

Golden Corral for breakfast . This restaurant is literally across the car park from the hotel so its a quick waddle back to the car after breakfast:rotfl: :rotfl: .

Then it’s on to IOA. DD and DH rode the Popeye and Bluto's Bilge Rat Rapids twice in succession and came off totally soaked . The weather has been good and not at all what we were expecting , low 80’s for the last 6 days so they dried in no time .

As we don’t go for the big rides our biggest queue was for the new train ride around Seuss landing . This is more for smaller children but gives a nice view over some of the park.

After a bit more shopping around Citywalk, DD got the decision of where to go for tea and she chose Planet Hollywood.

We tend to eat here on nearly every vacation to Disney but never again.

They have crammed that many tables in that you are elbow to elbow with the next table . When we mentioned it to the waiter he just said that they had been voted the most popular restaurant and had to therefore put more tables in. Tough luck if you are sat next to some-one with a bad odour or as we had someone who wanted to spend his whole meal watching what we were eating. Don't get me wrong the food was still good though its just too cramped in there now. I had the chicken sizzler wraps which makes a change from chicken strips :rotfl2: . DD had the burger and DH had the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich.

Tomorrow we might try a day without shopping.:scared1:

The last few times we have been to planet hollywood it has always been too busy.

Thanks for the great report

Yet it is the restaurant on the main board that often receives the most complaints :confused3

Another great day :)

Another couple of lovely days. The shopping sounds great, and I love mini-golf. The pizza place sounded good too. Popeye and Bluto is my favourite ride at IOA, but the Suess Trolley really frightened me as I am scared of heights! Sorry to hear about Planet Hollywood - we have never been so I think we might give it a miss.
