Day13 Boxing Day
Lovely weather again today, very warm but without the humidity not that we would see any off it, it was air conditioned heaven for us today.
No alarm set for today and we got up about 9.30 ready to hit the sales, we had been warned that the shops opened 6.00am so we thought they would be empty by the time we got there (At least DH hoped they would be).
DD had got dollars off her grandma and grandad so she had to spend them over there, so it was back to the Mall at Millenia and you guessed it her fav shop Macys.
On a previous trip I had seen a beautiful cashmere cardigan in Juicy Couture (but DH would not pay the $300 for it, as it wasn't in the sale he didn't class it as a bargain) so I went back to see if it was in the sale but it wasnt. Then we went to Bloomingdales where I got 2 in the sale which pleased DH and gave him the chance to give more smug "told you so" comments, for a lot less than the other one.
There really were some fantastic bargains to be had. Another visit to Macys
but this time it was the sports department. DD does hip-hop for 3hrs a week and has done since she was 7 so she managed to find some Nike dancing pants and 2 tops for her money, these were real bargains as she regularly buys the Nike Dancewear at home and these were working out at around 60% of the cost.
Time for lunch at the food court, it was absolutely packed but we were lucky as we got a table straight away. After a bite to eat we were off but made a stop at Walmart to replenish the cold and flu supplies.(looks like I will be taking these germs back home with me)
More bargains to be had. The best was a complete make-up set for $2.88 and then it was down to half price.
Back to the hotel and tea at the Mara. The food is nice but DD wanted pizza, because it is all cooked from fresh the first things ready were cold by the time hers was ready. No problem having them re-made. Filled the cups up for sponsored walk back to the hotel room and a chance to check out our bargains
