Does anyone know if they sell a CD with the music from Tarzan Rocks? I saw this show for the first time last week, and absolutely LOVED it! I know that some hate that it is like a concert, but I really liked it that way and was hoping they made a CD. If they haven't made one, I really hope they make one soon! Thanks in advance!

We have the soundtrack from Disney's Tarzan, all the songs are by Phil Collins. It's quite enjoyable.

We were dissappointed 2 weeks ago when we saw it....Still a good show but the singers we had seen the previous 2 trips were gone they were much better than the current singers in my opinion...Not to upset anyone by saying that because these new singers were good but the others just seem to draw us into the show more....Also when we were there on December 6th We were 2nd level right 1st row and as all the roller bladers came to go between the levels everyone of the fell right in front of us....It was tuff to watch....I felt real bad for them...Anyone else see that happen...There was a pretzel and Lemonade cart before the show so I dont know if something was wet or what....

I have the soundtrack from the movie, but after hearing the three singers belt out the songs with amazing harmonies, I would also like to have a CD of that in my collection.

The first time I saw the show last week, I saw CM thoroughly wiping off the rollerblading area, so that is pretty scary if someone fell when you saw it dolphindan. The second time I saw the show last week, they performed the "rain show" and there was no rollerblading in the audience as a result. (The day I am talking about is Christmas day when it POURED the whole day.)

I have to agree with dolphindan1. This is my very favorite show, and I was disappointed with the singers last week as well. The singers from 2002-2003 were fabulous. Last week's singers seemed like they were trying to ad-lib their own version to the wonderful Phil Collins' songs. A big NO-NO. Just sing the song the way it was in the movie, don't mess with it.
Get the Tarzan movie soundtrack, it is great.

Tarzan Rocks is my favorite show on Disney property, and I agree that last year's singers were much better than this season's. Oh well, still love the music and the show! We've seen it in all kinds of weather, including when Tarzan has to wear a full body leotard because it's so cold out, or how about the time the show was cancelled because it was so cold? That was the same day that Festival of the Lion King had no blue female bird, just the male red bird doing a ballet on the stage. Wonder if there is some "rule" prohibiting aerial work if the temp drops below a certain point?

We love Tarzan Rocks! We missed it this summer though so I hate to hear the new singers aren't as good.

Philly...I thought the singers I saw were VERY good...especially when Juan, Colleen, and Rasheeka (sp?) sang together. I know they caught my eye a few times so I felt like they interacted well with me and the crowd which just adds on to their wonderful singing.

Am I the only one that really HATES this show. Wife and I left very dissapointed back in 2001, thought it was kinda corny, and Tarzan and ROCKS shouldn't be associated. Now the Lion King was in a whole different ball park!

On our last trip someone told me that my favorite WWTBAM host, Kevin, sings at Tarzan rocks. I bet he is pretty good. Since he has been the host several times when I made the hot seat I kid him by saying we should stop meeting like that. LOL

I love Tarzan Rocks and the seats before the sound stage are not nearly as good as the ones behind IMHO and it is so much harder getting out sometimes. What seems rational is not always so. I hope none of the roller bladers got hurt badly. I love watching them.

I wouldn't say I hate it, but I didn't really like it either. I have only seen it once and it seemed too loud or something. Like the sound was muffled or had static (the kind of sound if you put your mouth too close to the microphone and then yell in it). I don't know how to describe it. I thought some of the stunts were ok, but I think the sound being bad took away from it.

I saw this with my family 3 or 4 year ago and none of us liked it. A lot of people got up and left before it was over.

Wow...so many different opinions...I guess for me personally having a musical theatre background makes me like this show so much. Oh well...to each his own!

Same here. I love the show!

We love it, too! The song "You'll Be In My Heart" has special meaning to us, and we all sing along during the show (I'm the one sobbing while hugging my kids! LOL!)

But I never even thought about what would happen if one of the rollerbladers crashed or fell. Now I'll be worrying about it through the whole show!

I thought this would be a great show. Awesome staging, very rock concert like with the huge twisted metal tree sculptures. I thought it would be a show adults would like better than the Disney Character stuff, I was wrong.

Singers on Roller Blades? I thought it was the jungle version of Starland Express. I give the singers and dancers credit, they work hard and put on a good show, but it just falls flat. If I had paid $50 to see it I would have been very disappointed. I slept through part of it. My wife didn't though as Tarzan has a perfect physique and was dressed only in a loin cloth and wig. :)

In all fairness, we sat too close. I think I like better being in the audience where you are removed from the action a bit and don't see the imperfections. We sat just to the left of the part of the stage that takes them out into the audience. We could touch the performers as they walked (or skated) by. We had to keep turning around to see what was happening to the side or behind us.

However, we loved the Mermaid show at MGM (Cirque De Sole meets West Side Story, very unexpected) and thought the best live show at any Disney venue was the theater in the round "Festival of the Lion King" show at AK. I did a quick search before writing this and it seems the general consensus is also that most people find the Lion King show the best. It was the one that every one of the very different people in our family walked out of and went "Wow".
