Target Service Plan is worth it

In Oct 2011 I bought a Nikon Coolpix from Target and bought the extended service plan for it as well. Recently I was having trouble with the battery holding a charge. I needed my camera so I bought a new battery at best buy. A day or so later I decided to read over my plan and it said that it will replace the battery. I called the number and they told me to send them my camera. Because my camera was "older" they would not fix it or replace the battery, instead they sent me a gift card for the full amount that I paid for the camera. The plans are a great price so if you buy any electronics at Target be sure to add the plan because it was super easy to file a claim and they took care of my problem.

I'll second that! Several years ago, we bought a portable DVD player with dual screens for our SUV. After a few months, it quit working so I called the service plan number. They had me send it back and it was repaired and returned very quickly. About a year later, the same thing happened. Sent it back, had it repaired and returned. Another year goes by, same thing! At that point, they told me that they were considering my DVD player a lemon so I got a gift card to place it with a new one!

Their service plan is really awesome. The price is reasonable and the service was top notch. I definitely recommend it with electronics.
