Target Disney Entertainment/Gift Cards - most purchased at once?

I have paid off my last few trips this way. My sister works for Team Target Racing Team and gets a Target employee discount of 10%. So I use my red card and she swipes her discount card and I get a 15% discount! I usually buy them 10 at a time.

If you fill 5 prescriptions you can get a coupon for another 5 percent you can stack with the 5% off with the red card I've done it!

Yep, this is what we did - filled 5 prescriptions and got the 5% Pharmacy Rewards coupon in the mail. It's good for one day (not just one transaction) 5% off your total purchases. It stacks with the Target Red Card discount (available as either credit or debit card), which is also 5% off your total transaction.

In my local Targets, the Disney cards are available both in the back by electronics on an end cap full of various retailers' cards, as well as the front checkout lanes. The cards themselves say 'gift card' on them, but the barcodes on the pegs they hang on classify them as 'entertainment cards' (as opposed to Target gift cards to be used at Target only).

If you have a Target employee in the family you could get an even better deal with their employee discount stacked with a Red Card!

Great job! We had the same problem with our Target Debit card when we tried to make a large purchase. They should at least be able to tell you what your limit is at any given time!

No, the 5% they are talking about is the regular redcard discount. The 10% isn't in addition to that (even though the cashier often words it like that) it's IN PLACE of the 5%. We had that argueement when I got a Red Card and expected 15% off my new TV a few years ago.

Hmm... SO could one theoretically open a card and get 10% off AND use their pharmacy reward of 5% all at once? That would be a major score.

???? I don't know who still thinks that you get 10% off for opening a Target card... But that ended a good 2 years ago when the 5% everyday promotion began.

Let me be clear... There is no 10% discount for opening a new account. If you open a new account, you get 5% off. You can combine that with a 5% pharmacy rewards (must sign up, have 5 Rx to earn).


If you're up to it, team members do get 10% discount. They can share this with a spouse or dependent. Not share it with a friend, parent, sibling tho (that can get you fired )

I have a Target debit card, but it would take us five years to get five prescriptions. I have a very good neighbor friend who probably gets a Target pharmacy 5% coupon every month or two.

Can I use hers? Can I take it to Target, use it and pay for the cards with MY Target debit card, and give it back to her for her to use for the day? Or maybe we go to Target together that day? Would she have to buy the cards with her Target debit card?

I've never seen one so I don't know what fine print it says on there.
